Warriors vs 76ers Prediction & Player Props: Can the Sixers blow out the Steph-less Warriors in the City of Brotherly Love?

The Golden State Warriors continue their East Coast road trip as they land in the city of brotherly love to take on the Philadelphia 76ers in a Friday night cross-conference clash.

The Warriors have lost 2 games in a row but the biggest news comes from superstar Steph Curry.

Curry injured his non-shooting shoulder on Wednesday against the Pacers and is set to miss some time over the coming weeks.

Obviously it is a huge blow to lose a player like Steph, for any period of time but this is a big blow for the Warriors right now.

Steph has been sensational to start the season and at times, has been carrying this team.

This will be a test for the Warriors over this stretch of games to handle adversity and hold down the fort until Steph can return.

That starts tonight in Philly and, with how the Sixers are playing right now, it’s a tough place to start.

The Sixers have been great the past few weeks, as Joel Embiid and James harden have returned from injury and stepped right back into to superstar form.

Embiid has been awesome, scoring 30+ in 10 of his last 11 games and in 5 straight. Harden has also been fantastic, scoring and facilitating.

He has 20+ in 3 of his last 4 since returning and 12+ assists in 3 straight games.

These two will have a chance to continue their excellent play tonight against the Steph-less Warriors but will it lead to the Sixers covering the spread?

Prediction

This is just a really bad spot for the Warriors.

The combination of losing their best player and facilitator of their offense mixed with this long road trip is going to be a tough stretch for the Warriors.

Combine that with the great play of the Sixers right now and I could see a blow out here.

I am going to take the Sixers on the spread and think they could run away with this one early and never look back.

As I mentioned with Harden, he has been great since coming back from injury.

He has 11+ assists in 3 straight games and like to play the Warriors as a facilitator.

This is his first game against the Dubs as a member of the Sixers but in his previous matchups as a member of the Nets and Rockets respectively, he was dishing early and often.

He has 11+ assists in 4 of his last 7 games against the Warriors, with 2 of those misses being 10 assist games.

Harden is running this offense so smoothly right now and I expect that to continue tonight.
