After a busy Valentine’s Day schedule, the NBA only has three games slated for Thursday, Feb. 15. The night ends with a clash between the Golden State Warriors (26-26) and Utah Jazz (26-29) at 9 p.m. ET as they make up for a game that was postponed on Jan. 17.

Stephen Curry’s 41-point effort wasn’t enough last night as the Warriors fell 130-125 to the LA Clippers at home. The Jazz also picked up a loss less than 24 hours ago, losing 138-122 to the Los Angeles Lakers to extend their skid to three games.
So, which side will earn a bounce-back victory tonight? Let’s dive into this Warriors vs. Jazz preview — which includes predictions and the best bets — to discuss.

Warriors vs Jazz Prediction & NBA Pick Today (2/15): Golden State Bounces Back
You don’t have to go too far back to find the last time these teams collided.
The Jazz just hosted the Warriors at Delta Center three nights ago. Unfortunately, things didn’t go the host team’s way as the Warriors emerged with the 129-107 victory behind Curry and Klay Thompson combining for 51 points while shooting 10-for-23 from the three-point line.
It was just more of the same from a Golden State team that has now won eight of its last 10 meetings with Utah. In fact, Steve Kerr’s team owns a plus-2.9 average scoring margin in those games.
If the Warriors want to continue that trend, they need a more complete effort than they showed last night. Golden State led by as many as 15 points against LA and even entered the quarter with an 11-point lead but couldn’t get the job done.
The Warriors let Stephen Curry’s 41-point showing go to waste on Wednesday due to their inability to stop the Clippers in the fourth quarter.
Having said that, it isn’t as if the Jazz’s latest effort was anything special. After all, they allowed the Lakers to score a whopping 138 points while shooting 57.1% from the floor and 45.2% from three-point distance. It doesn’t help that Utah displayed little discipline, taking 21 fouls that led to Los Angeles sinking 20 of its 24 free-throw attempts.
The inability to stop opponents from scoring is the main reason behind the Jazz’s three-game losing streak. They’re surrendering 132.0 PPG with a 54.5 FG% and 46.2 3P% during their skid and although that’s a small sample size, those stats rank 30th, 29th, and 30th during that stretch.
If the Jazz don’t show up with a better defensive mindset tonight, they’ll be toast. The Warriors are one of the best teams at scoring this season, ranking sixth in points, second in three-pointers made, and fifth in three-point percentage. They also hit 78.7% of their free throws (12th), meaning the Jazz can’t afford to lack discipline, too.
As far as back-to-back games go, the Warriors are 6-4 SU (60.0%) in games after playing the night before while the Jazz are 4-5 SU (44.4%) when operating on less than 24 hours of rest this season.
The Jazz tend to struggle in the second half of back-to-back games this season.
Considering how they beat the Jazz only a few nights ago, I don’t see the Warriors losing tonight. It’s important to remember that they were on a five-game winning streak before last night’s loss, whereas the Jazz haven’t earned a win in over a week. Throw in the fact that Golden State has also dominated Utah over the last few years and it’s easier to feel good about Curry & Co. tonight.
I also recommend taking the Warriors as the 2-point favorites. Not only are the Warriors 5-1 ATS in their last six games but they’ve also covered the spread in each of their last five meetings with the Jazz, who are an uninspiring 2-6 ATS in their eight previous outights. Utah lost to Golden State by 22 points to begin to week so I don’t see the Dubs struggling to cover again tonight.

Best Warriors vs Jazz NBA Prop Bet (2/15)
Bovada has the best Warriors vs. Jazz player prop today, which happens to be the Over on Stephen Curry’s 29.5-point total.
Any time you need a player to score 30 points, chances are that Curry can do it. The two-time NBA scoring champ has been white-hot lately, averaging 33.8 PPG on .518/.481/.933 splits across his last 11 games. He’s finished with the Over on this prop in seven of those games, which includes 41 points against the Clippers last night.
Averaging 33.0 points in his last five road outings as well, I’m confident that Curry can hit the Over again tonight — especially with how awful the Jazz’s defense has been.
