See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe 2022-23 NBA season continues on Monday, Nov. 1 with another slate of exciting matchups. The Western and Conference Conferences collide at 7:30 p.m. ET when the Golden State Warriors pay a visit to the Miami Heat.
Both teams were viewed as NBA Championship contenders this season, but have struggled out of the gate. The Warriors — the defending champions — have lost three of their last four games, including a 128-114 loss to the Detroit Pistons in their last outing on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Heat are also 1-3 in their last four games. Miami lost 119-113 to the Sacramento Kings in its last game, putting an end to a three-game road trip. Unfortunately, coming home doesn’t mean much considering how the Heat are 1-3 at FTX Arena so far this season.
There’s a lot to take in before Tuesday’s Warriors vs Heat game. Fortunately, Betting News has gathered the game’s odds while also having a prediction and best bet for tonight’s contest.

Golden State Warriors vs Miami Heat Prediction and Picks
Warriors vs Heat Prediction: Warriors 116, Heat 108
Warriors vs Heat Picks: Warriors -1 (Best Value: -108 at BetOnline) & Under 227 Points (Best Value: -110 at BetOnline)
The 2022-23 NBA season is still young, however, this is already the second meeting between the Warriors and Heat. Golden State scored a 123-110 victory over Miami back on Oct. 27, leaving time to tell if history will repeat itself or be different.
It was a game where the Warriors won due to their domination on the glasses, out-rebounding the Heat by a final total of 50-31. It’ll be interesting to see if that trend continues or not considering how both sides are bottom-11 rebounding teams this season.
One thing that the Warriors will want to be careful of is turnovers. Steve Kerr’s team had 21 giveaways to the Heat’s 12 last week. Though Miami wasn’t able to capitalize on those opportunities, it’s worth pointing out that the Heat average 18.1 points off turnovers per game, which is tied for the 12th-best in the NBA.
Another thing worth pointing out is that the Heat enter this game after losing to the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. For reference, the Warriors already defeated the Kings earlier this season, which could also give them an advantage over the Heat.
Nevertheless, it’d help if the Warriors got support from the supporting cast. Outside of Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins, offense has been hard to come by.
Klay Thompson is having a dreadful start to the year, averaging just 12.3 points on .346/.286/.857 shooting splits. Everyone else besides the aforementioned quartet is averaging single-digit totals.
Even with those struggles, the Warriors are still the highest-scoring team in the Association (118.7 PPG). At the same time, they also have the worst scoring defense, proving that changes must be made.
Meanwhile, the Heat are the opposite. Miami currently holds the fifth-worst offense in the league, however, its defense ranks 12th-best. Nevertheless, the Heat have allowed 119-plus points in back-to-back games, leaving time to tell if that trend continues.
Though both teams have been even this season, I’m backing the road team in this Warriors vs Heat matchup. The Warriors’ offense is still elite and I can’t imagine the Heat being able to keep pace in their current form.
This game is essentially a pick ‘em situation, so I’ll take the Warriors to cover the 1-point spread at -108 odds. I’ll also take the total hitting the under, which is something that it’s done in each of the last times that Golden State and Miami have collided.
