The NBA takes a break for the All-Star break next week, and for the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors, who meet tonight at the Chase Center (8:30 pm ET, ABC), the break may be an interruption to the good vibes both teams have going right now.
The Suns (31-21, 15-10 away, 21-29-2 ATS) are 5-1 in their last six games and sit fifth in the Western Conference standings, two games ahead of the eighth-place Dallas Mavericks.
Phoenix has owned Golden State (24-25, 13-13 home, 24-23-2 ATS) over the last two years, winning seven of the last eight head-to-head meetings, including the first three this season. The Suns are favored to finish off the regular season sweep tonight, but they will have to cool off a hot team to do so.
The Warriors currently sit 11th in the West, two games behind the tenth-place Utah Jazz. But, like the Suns, the Dubs have five wins in their last six homes and are on one of their best runs of the season with four games remaining before the All-Star break.

Phoenix Suns vs Golden State Warriors Prediction and Picks
Suns vs Warriors Betting Analysis and Prediction
Many people will be making Super Bowl betting picks on San Francisco’s NFL team, but is San Francisco’s NBA team worth a play today?
Based on their recent play, the Warriors certainly merit some consideration. This evening’s game marks Golden State’s return home after a 4-1 road trip that saw them lose only to the Hawks in OT and defeat the Grizzlies, Nets, 76ers, and Pacers.
Will their hot streak continue back at the Chase Center? The Warriors are just 1-5 SU and as a home underdog this season, and they are 5-15 SU overall as an underdog this season. However, they are 3-2-1 ATS as a home underdog and 12-7-1 ATS overall as an underdog, so they can’t be written off, especially with such a small spread.
On the other side, the Suns are 11-5 SU and 7-8-1 as a road favorite this season, So, while they have won plenty as a road favorite, there is a moneyline and spread betting discrepancy with their SU and ATS records as a road favorite, just as there is a similar discrepancy with the Warriors’ SU and ATS records as a home underdog.
With this info in mind, which side is the best bet in this matchup? In home games against teams that currently have a winning record, the Warriors are only 5-12 SU and 6-10-1 ATS.
Their lone win in their last five such games is against the Sixers, who were with a hobbled Joel Embiid but without Tyrese Maxey, the team’s second leading scorer.
Prediction: Suns to win and cover
Best Player Props for Suns vs Warriors
Odds and picks listed below are courtesy of BetOnline and Bovada.
Devin Booker over 5.5 assists (-110 at Bovada)
In three games against the Warriors this season, Booker has eight, ten, and seven assists. He has had over 5.5 assists only four times in his last ten games and four of his last ten road games, but I think he’ll have another solid night dropping dimes against the Dubs.
Jonathan Kuminga over 2.5 assists (-130 at Bovada)
Kuminga continues to establish himself as one of Golden State’s go-to scoring options, but that isn’t the only way he has been contributing. In each of his last five games, Kuminga has recorded three or more assists.
Jusuf Nurkic over 11.5 points (-120 at BetOnline) & 22.5 points + rebounds (-115 at Bovada)
Over his last five games, Nurkic is averaging 17.2 PPG and 10.2 RPG. He has had 12+ points four times in this stretch, and he has gone over 22.5 points + rebounds four times in this stretch as well.
