Prediction for Celtics vs Heat

A week ago, if anyone told you that both of these Conference FinalSeries would possibly be sweeps, you would have called them crazy and moved on with your day with a chuckle.

Well, here we are.

The Miami Heat’s incredible playoff run has continued and they are 1 win away from making the NBA Finals as an 8 seed.

It is hard to determine which storyline is more captivating, the possible Heat sweep or the Celtics getting swept?

The answer is truly both but for me, the Celtics losing in 4 in this series would be an utter disappointment after their fantastic regular season.

Game 3 was about as bad as it gets for the Celtics, as the Heat gave them a good old fashioned beat down, and I think that experience motivates the Celtics for one final push.

Now, this bet comes with a conspiracy theory that is not the whole reason behind the bet. But hear me out.

I really don’t believe the NBA wants to have 8 days without a single game before the NBA Finals.

I am not implying anything more than that but 2 sweeps in the Conference Finals would be tough for business and TV ratings.

Marry that with the fact that Boston got embarrassed in Game 3 and I think we see a huge bounce back tonight to send this series back to Boston for Game 5.

I have gotten burned betting against Jimmy Butler countless times this playoffs and if that happens one more time tonight, all you can do is tip your hat.

Give me the Celtics. They aren’t getting swept.

Jayson Tatum o29.5 Points (-105) BetOnline

I mean, if I am going with the Celtics, I don’t see a way they get the job done without a huge night from Tatum.

He was awful in Game 3, going 6/18 from the field and only managing 14 points. He was bad.

But the Celtics as a whole looked slow and lethargic all game and I highly doubt we see that tonight.

Tatum had 30+ in Game 1 and 2 and he still didn’t play particularly well. Tonight, Tatum is going to have to be Superman. And I think he is.

We saw LeBron James leave it all out one the court last night against the Nuggets to try to the will the Lakers to victory, dropping 40 points while playing the ENTIRE game.

Tatum was no doubt watching that and is going to try his best to mirror that performance, with the the only difference being it ending in a Celtics win and a Game 5.
