Nuggets vs Bucks Prediction & Player Prop of the Game: Will we see Giannis vs Jokic?

The Denver Nuggets roll into Milwaukee to take on Giannis and the Bucks in a West vs East showdown on Wednesday Night in the NBA.

There are a few question marks in this one, the biggest being will back to back MVP Nikola Jokic play and if he doesn’t, can the Nuggets grab a big win on the road?

That said, let’s jump in to what should be a fun one in Milwaukee tonight.

Prediction

Well, it seems in all likelihood that Nikola Jokic won’t be suiting up tonight but that hasn’t been confirmed as of this writing.

The 8 point spread tells me that he probably won’t play and if he doesn’t, its hard to see a way the Nuggets grab a win in Milwaukee tonight.

It’s likely Jokic won’t suit up because the Nuggets are on a multi-city back to back and he was questionable yesterday before he eventually played against the Pelicans.

That said, here’s what he did against the Pels…

Just incredible play from the Joker yet again, and the Nuggets gutted out a one point win 99-98 because of it.

If Jokic doesn’t end up going, it is not only a bummer for this game but also for us fans to not get to see the Jokic vs Giannis matchup that would surely be must-see TV.

Giannis won’t care either way and will come out looking to bury the Nuggets, Joker or no Joker.

The Bucks are fresh off of a 20 point drubbing of the Pistons, where they dropped 150 points.

They have also won 3 of their last 4 games and will look to keep pace in the competitive top 4 of the Eastern Conference.

At home tonight against the Nuggets, fresh off a back to back, most likely resting their best player, I love the Bucks to dominate.

Giannis and Co. will take care of business and pick up a double digit win at home.

Player Prop of the Game

Brook Lopez o1.5 3 pointers (-125)

I really wanted to target some Nuggets players but none of the lines are listed as of this writing so I will give you my favorite on the Bucks side of things.

Lopez is having a fantastic season for the Bucks, especially defensively, but also shooting from behind the arc.

He is shooting 38% on the season from 3 and that jumps to 43% at home.

He has hit 2+ 3’s in 7 of his last 8 games, shooting 40% in that stretch.

I like the big man to have plenty of chances again to drain 2 3s and cash this prop.
