Prediction

The first day of the NBA playoffs is capped off with maybe the best matchup of the entire first round as Stephen Curry and the defending champion Warriors start their repeat quest on the road in Sacramento tonight against De’Aaron Fox and the Kings.

This entire series is going to be a slugfest as the Kings will look to take advantage of their first trip back to the playoffs since 2006 and the Warriors will look for the coveted repeat.

To me, this will be my favorite series to watch and bet on, so I am excited to dive into game 1.

Everything about this matchup is going to be must-see tv and it all starts tonight on ESPN in game 1.

I am tempted to take the over here, as 3 of the last 4 matchups have gone over but the playoffs are a different breed so I am going to hold off on the over.

What trend I am not going to ignore is how bad the Warriors have been on the road all season.

The Dubs were a atrocious 11-30 away from the Bay this season, which is one of the reasons I have serious concerns for the Warriors getting out of this one alive.

Tonight, I love the Kings to start hot and take game 1 at home. They have been waiting for this moment and I think De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis take advantage.

Golden State ranks 23rd in 3 point defense and I expect the Kings to come out hot to start this series.
