It’s been just over a week since the NBA came back, and we’ve already seen some all-time type performances. Luka’s come out at and put up two 30+ point triple doubles, and a 49 point game.
Steph’s averaging 33.5 through four games, with two forty balls, ALREADY. The game is in good hands, and each game has been more exciting than the last.
So many big games already and we’re barely four games into each team’s schedule. So let’s not waste any time, let’s get into our favourite (Must Bet) NBA Props Tonight.

J. Duren D/Double (-120) via Bovada
Jalen Duren is still just 19 years old, but he plays with strength and tenacity of a fully grown man. Through 4 games this year, he’s had a double double in 3 of the 4 games, averaging 15.3 PPG, 13.3 RPG, 3.3 APG, and 2 BPG.
The Pistons last game was a blowout loss to the Thunder, Duren saw a season low of 23 minutes, finishing w 8 points and 7 rebounds.
Not only did Duren lose minutes in a blowout, but he allowed Chet Holmgren to score 14 points on just five shots; he went 4/5 from 3.
Duren played every PnR below the screen, going under the screener every time; allowing for MULTIPLE open 3s for Chet. Duren did tweak his ankle against the Thunder, but if he’s cleared to play he should see no restrictions.
Expect a bounce back today from this entire Pistons squad. They’ve looked competitive so far this season, and now they return home for just their 2nd home game of the year.
On the other side of the ball, the Blazers are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights, all on the east coast. They’ve travelled from Philly, to Toronto, and now down into Detroit for the final game of this 3 game east coast trip.
Tired legs mean more missed shots, and more offensive rebound opportunities. I’m also expecting Duren’s play time to come back to normal in this matchup with Ayton and Robert Williams.

D. Schroder o12.5 Points (-115) via Bovada
We’ll be taking point guards against Milwaukee all season, strap in. This Bucks team with Lillard and Giannis has looked completely different than the team we had come to know.
Without Jrue, this Bucks team is allowing 119.3 PPG (25th) vs. 113.3 (14th) last season; all while allowing opponents to shoot 49%.
The biggest hole on the defense comes at the point guard position. As good as Dame is, defensively he just doesn’t match up well with any point guards in this league.
So far through 3 games, the Bucks have surrendered 35 points to Tyler Herro, and 31 to Tyrese Maxey. The only game we didn’t see a point guard go crazy, Murray/Young combined for 25 in a blowout win over the Milwaukee.
Schroder is averaging 14.3 PPG and taking 13 shots/game. He’s been shooting terribly, averaging just 38.5% from the field. He’s taken 10+ shots in each game, and is third in usage on this Raps team.
In his L6 games against Dame, Schroder has cleared this line in 5 times; scoring 20+ in 4 of those games, while taking 13+ shots in 4 of the 6.
These stats just speak to Schroder’s strategy when playing against Dame. His mentality is to attack Dame and get buckets. Try and attack the defensive mismatch, something we’ve seen other teams do successfully this season.
With Scottie, Spicy P, and OG Anunoby all in the line up; Schroder should draw the easiest defensive matchup, aka, Dame.

Ladder Sprinkle: D. Schroder 20+ (+500) || D. Schroder 25+ (+1000)
A. Sengun D/Double (-120) via Bovada
The Rockets are 0-3 and still searching for their first win of the year. This team wasn’t projected to be make the playoffs, but I also don’t think anyone expected them to be as bad as they’ve been.
Additions like Fred Vanvleet and Dillon Brooks have yet to make a significant difference with this Rockets team.
The one thing that has remained constant, is the play of Alpren Sengun.
Through the first three games of the year, Sengun is averaging 19 PPG, 9 RPG, and 6.7 APG. Yeah, Baby Jokic indeed.
Sengun’s only had a single double double this year, that came against the Spurs in a game he had 25/14/7. He’s also had 6+ assists in all 3 games, recording 7+ in back to back games.
Alpren Sengun is the type of players that can do a lot of everything. He’s a nightly triple double threat, and could easily give you 10 assists on any night.
On the year Sengun’s averaging 16 Reb chances/game and 12 potential assists/game; the same number as starting point guard Freddy.
Now against this Hornets team, Sengun should have plenty of opportunity to pull in some rebounds. In his two games against the Hornets last season, he had 12 rebounds and 25 rebounds, respectively; recording double doubles in both.
The Hornets are also allowing the 4th most points and 4th most rebounds to opposing centers, and with their struggles from the field, I’m projecting plenty of rebound opportunities for Sengun tonight.

Triple/Double Sprinkle: A. Sengun T/Double (+1600)
