The 2025 NBA Playoffs are officially underway and today we’re here to talk about my favorite props on tonight’s two game slate.
For additional information on picks, props, money lines and more on today’s slate, take a look at our NBA Picks Page or our NBA Odds Page, here.
Today’s Best NBA Bets and Player Props
Eastern Conference
Let’s start by sending thoughts and prayers to Damian Lillard, he suffered what looked like an achilles tear just six minutes into Game 4. After missing the last 6-weeks of the season with blood clots, Dame made his unlikely return in Game 2 and it just sucks to see him go down once again at the end of the year.
Milwaukee would go on to get blown out by the Pacers, as both teams now head back to Indiana with the Bucks down 3-1 in the series.
The Magic and Celtics took the floor for Game 4 and both teams picked up right where they left off, at each others throats. Hard fouls, physical defense and tough buckets; that was the gist of this game. Boston came out on top thanks to 37 points from Jayson Tatum and will now head back to TD Garden looking to close out the series.
Lastly, we’ve got to talk about that Knicks/Pistons Game 4. The Knicks escaped Detroit with a narrow win in a game they had no business winning. The missed call on Tim Hardaway Jr. has got to be the ugliest missed call of the postseason so far, essentially giving the game to New York with zeros on the clock.
Tonight the Cavs enter the game up 3-0 in the series and looking to close it out tonight in South Beach. Darius Garland is once again questionable for Cleveland with a sprained toe. With how they handled Miami in the last game, I don’t expect Cleveland to rush DG back early.

Western Conference
In the Western Conference we’ve seen some absolute battles thus far.
Last night the Lakers and Timberwolves went toe to toe; Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle going head to head with Luka Dončić and Lebron James. Los Angeles entered the game down 2-1 in the series and desperate for the win. Lebron and the Lakers looked in control early, going into the 4th quarter with a 10-point lead.
All of that was erased by Anthony Edwards and his 16 4th quarter points. Antman would outscore both Lebron and Luka in the final frame, with the Lakers scoring just 19 points in the fourth. Head Coach JJ Reddick’s decision to leave his starters out there for the entire 2H will be analyzed again and again for the next 72 hours, all the way to tip off in Game 5.
Tonight the Warriors look to take a demanding 3-1 lead on the youthful Rockets. Steph played out of his mind in Game 3 and they’ll need more of the same here in Game 4.
Our Selections for NBA Player Props, April 28th
Stephen Curry o10.5 A/R (-105 via BetOnline)

Through 3-games of this Western Conference Quarter-Final and Steph Curry has lit it up. He’s averaging 29.0 PPG, 6.0 RPG and 7.0 APG in the series thus far and he’s now had 30+ in 2 of the 3 games. The Rockets have shown a variety of defenses already and used a variety of different bodies to try and contain Chef. Nothing has worked.
The Warriors were without Jimmy Butler in Game 3 and despite missing their new addition, the Warriors looked dominant on both ends of the floor. The Dubs scored 104 points as a team, but more importantly held this young Rockets team to 93 points on under 40% from the field.
Golden State’s experience showed in Game 3 and tonight with the chance to go up 3-1 heading back to Houston, look for them to tap into that experience one more time.
Steph’s had 30+ in 2 of the 3 games but he’s also finished with double digit rebounds/assists in 2 of the 3 games. Curry’s had 9 assists in back to back games and avergaing 12.7 potential assists per game in this series. Curry’s also attacking the defensive glass, starting the break and most importantly not allowing the defense to get set.
Steph’s one of the craftiest players in the game and in the postseason we get a chance to see his entire bag.
Max Strus o9.5 Points (+110 via BetOnline)

The chance to play your former team, in the building you’ve had so many postseason battles. Chances like this only come along so often. Max Strus is back in Miami with a chance at sending his former team to Cancun.
Through 3-games, Strus is averaging 13.7 PPG and he’s shooting 54% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc. He’s cleared this in 2 of the 3 games with the 1 miss being 9 points. Yeah, big Strus guy today.
