V. Wembanyama o2.5 3s (+210)
I’m not sure I’ve seen someone look as comfortable as Wemby did in his NBA debut. Unfortunately, his debut was limited because of early foul trouble that followed him into the second half.
Despite playing only 23 minutes, Wembanyama saw a 26% usage rate when on the court, taking 9 field goal attempts; 5 from deep.
Wemby shot 3/5 from 3 in his debut, but what caught my attention was the types of shots he was taking.
No matter how close the defender, or how tall; it seemed like Wemby’s able to just look over top and passed them.
Multiple times we saw Victor bring up the ball himself, just to pull up from deep without running a single offensive set.
He’s comfortable shooting from a variety of different spots on the court, and his catch and release is much quicker than you’d expect from someone of his size and length.
Pop’s talked about it during training camp, Wemby knows what he’s doing and he’s got free reign to do what he wants.
The 2+ 3s is great value at (-145) but personally I like the value at (+210) for him to hit one more.
The Rockets ranked 28th in opponent ppg last season, 28th in opponent 3-point percentage, and last in opponent 3s/game.
Wemby’s starting his career with back to back divisional opponents, and the second of the Spurs’ two inner state rivals. Game one was just a soft launch, this is where we see Wembanyama make his ‘debut’.

K. Murray o2.5 3s (-120) via Bovada
Keegan Murray was absolutely phenomenal in his rookie campaign. Not many rookies come into the league and have the sort of immediate impact that Murray did with the Kings.
Last year, Murray averaged 12.2 points/game on 45% and 41% from 3. Murray started in 78 games and played in 80 of the 82 games.
He averaged 12.9 ppg, at home in Sacremento, vs 11.5 on the road; but the big difference came in his 3-point %.
Murray shot 44.4% from 3, when in front of the home crowd, vs 38.2% on the road. Murray proved to be the type of knockdown shooter the Kings were looking for.
In the Kings’ first game this season, they travelled to Utah to take on the Jazz. Murray played 30 minutes a borderline blowout; shooting 4/9 from 3.
In 4 regular season matchups last season, Murray averaged 7 3-point attempts/game and shot 43% vs the Pacific division.
With Draymond still set to miss this game, the Warriors will once again be without their defensive captain.
Without Draymond’s voice directing traffic, making the necessary changes and adjustments on the defensive end; expect missed rotations, missed assignments and open shots.
The two man game between Sabonis and Fox should lead to some open 3s for Murray for their other teammates. Both guys have the ability to find teammates in space, and then guys like Murray and Monk reap the benefits.
Oh and let’s not forget, Murray just set the single season record for 3s made by a rookie (188), and he did it with the highest shooting percentage ever for a rookie.
“Light the beam!”
Ladder Sprinkle: K. Murray 4+ 3s (+215) | K. Murray 5+ 3s (+550)

C. Cunningham o22.5 Points (-110) via Bovada
Cade spent a majority of last season hurt and it seems like everyone’s forgotten who this kid is.
In his rookie season, Cade averaged 17.7 / 5.5 / 5.6 while shooting just 41.6% and 31% from 3.
Last season, in just 29 games, Cade averaged 19.9 / 6.2 / 6 while shooting even worse from deep. But this is Cade’s third season with the Pistons, and first under head coach Monty Williams.
Monty Williams spent a big portion of his coaching career with Devin Booker, and helping develop Booker into the guy he is today.
Well in his first game under his new head coach, Cade went toe to toe with Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat. He scored 30 points, dished out 9 assists, and grabbed 2 rebounds.
Cunnigham played 36 minutes in game one, taking 27 field goal attempts, and scoring 30 points without a single free throw attempt.
Cade shot 44% from deep, going 4/9 against the Heat; and shooting 48% from the field.
He had a 33.7% usage rate and scored 38% of the Pistons points; against the Heat.
Despite holding Trae and Dejounte to a combined 7/33 in their season opener, the Hornets lack defensive identity.
Last season the Hornets gave up the 5th most points/game to the point guard position.
Cade’s size and ability to score at all three levels should provide multiple opportunities to cash us out.
C. Cunningham o22.5 Points (-110) via Bovada
