It is a massive Eastern conference clash tonight in Wells Fargo Arena on TNT tonight, as we are in the home stretch of the NBA season and the playoffs are looming.

It is all to play for tonight, as the Heat are looking to pick up as many wins as possible to climb out of the play-in games in the East.
The East looks like this…
The Heat are 1.5 games back from the 6th place Nets and have a massive opportunity to close the gap to a half game tonight against the Sixers, who don’t have much left to play for.
The 76ers are 2.5 games back from the 2nd place Celtics and 2.5 games ahead of the 4th place Cavaliers. They are pretty much locked into the 3 seed but it is looking like the Sixers aren’t going to sit this one out tonight completely.
Joel Embiid is very close to winning the MVP award, as he is the betting favorite right now. One more signature performance and Embiid will have the award in the bag.
Tonight, Embiid will get a chance to get that signature performance against the Heat at home and I think he delivers.
While I love Embiid to have another big game and lock up the MVP award, I love Jimmy Butler and the Heat to hang around all night long and possibly even win outright to press for that 6th seed in the East.

In his last game in Wells Fargo Center in February, he flirted with a Triple double and had 9 assists.
