The Cavaliers are heading to Orlando with a 2-0 series lead following Monday’s 96-86 victory over the Magic. Donovan Mitchell led the way with a team-high 23 points while Jarrett Allen tallied a massive 16-point, 20-rebound double-double.

Cavaliers vs Magic Game 3 Predictions & NBA Picks Today (4/25)
It’s safe to say that the Magic didn’t learn much after their abysmal offensive performance in Game 1. Orlando’s scoring struggles continued into Game 2 as it failed to solve Cleveland’s defense, only scoring 86 points while shooting a putrid 36.3% from the floor and 25.7% from deep.
It didn’t help that the Magic got off to another slow start, trailing 30-18 after the first quarter. They’ve now been outscored 63-44 in the opening frame of the first two games alone. In fact, Orlando hasn’t even led for a single second in this series.
With the Game 2 loss, the Magic have now dropped to 2-8 SU in their last 10 meetings with the Cavaliers. There’s always a chance that momentum will sway back in the Magic’s favor as the series shifts to Orlando, however, that might not be the case given that the Cavs won 126-99 when they last collided at Kia Center on Jan. 22.
Will the series shifting to Orlando benefit the Magic?
It isn’t all perfect for the Cavaliers, though. For instance, they’ve been struggling away from home, dropping seven of their last eight road games. Most of those losses were lopsided as all but one of them came by three or more possessions.
Furthermore, the Cavs are on a three-game losing streak on the road, getting outscored by an average of 14.0 PPG.
On the flip side, the Magic 4-0 SU with a plus-17.8 average scoring margin in their last four home games. They’re also 19-6 ATS as the home favorite this season, whereas the Cavaliers are 10-11 ATS as the away underdogs.
The Cavaliers have been struggling to get the job done on the road lately.
After the Cavaliers won the first two matchups, I’m taking the Magic to win Game 3. Orlando desperately needs to get into the win column and can’t afford to fall into a 3-0 hole. The Cavs’ offense has been less than stellar this series, so if the Magic can tighten up on defense, cutting the lead in half is a real possibility this evening.
The Magic haven’t played well against the spread as of late, though, so let’s stick with a moneyline bet tonight.

With the Magic struggling to defend the paint, taking the Over on Jarrett Allen’s 15.5-point total (-103) is a no-brainer decision.
Allen has been money as far as this prop is concerned. In his last 13 games, the veteran center is averaging 18.0 points on 66.9% shooting while finishing with the Over 10 times — including in both games to begin this series.
Speaking of which, Allen has now finished with the Over in six of his last 10 games against the Magic. Until Orlando proves that it can effectively guard the paint, I’m going to keep riding with this prop.
Best Cavaliers vs Magic Game 3 Prop Bet: Jarrett Allen o15.5 Total Points (-103)
