The Milwaukee Bucks (35-21) look to avoid a third consecutive loss when they visit the Minnesota Timberwolves (39-16) at 10 p.m. ET on Friday, Feb. 23. It won’t be easy, though, seeing as the T-Wolves are currently on a four-game winning streak.
it’s been a wild ride so far, Wolves fans.

The Bucks entered the NBA All-Star Break on the wrong note, losing back-to-back games to the Miami Heat and Memphis Grizzlies before the pause. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves won back-to-back outings over the Portland Trail Blazers to extend their winning streak to four games, leaving time to tell how far they can push things.
When it comes to BetOnline’s 2023-24 NBA Finals odds, Milwaukee enters tonight’s contest with the fourth-best odds (+750) while Minnesota is tied for eighth at +2800.
With plenty of Bucks vs. Timberwolves betting opportunities on the horizon, let’s get things started with my predictions and best bets for tonight’s collision.

Bucks vs Timberwolves Prediction & NBA Pick Today (2/23): Can Milwaukee Avoid Another Defeat?
It’s safe to say that Doc Rivers’ time as the Bucks’ head coach hasn’t gone as planned.
Although the team wasn’t perfect before he took over, the fact that Milwaukee is 3-7 SU under guidance is embarrassing. The Bucks’ 30.0% winning percentage since his hiring is tied for seventh-worst in the NBA. Additionally, they rank seventh-worst in points, eighth-worst in rebounds, ninth-worst in three-point percentage, and 12th-worst in average scoring margin during that stretch.
It doesn’t help that the Bucks have also struggled as visitors lately. Not only have they lost eight of their last 12 road games, but they only covered the spread 11 times during that run. In fact, they’ve lost three away games in a row by an average of 8.7 points.
It doesn’t help that Milwaukee is also somewhat banged up ahead of tonight’s clash. Khris Middleton (ankle) has already been ruled out while Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) and Pat Connaughton (knee) are both probable, although it’s likely that neither are at 100%.
The Bucks need Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) to be as healthy as possible to upset the Timberwolves tonight.
The Timberwolves, on the other hand, boast a relatively clean bill of health. Jaylen Clark is the only player who is ruled out, however, he hasn’t even played a game yet this season after tearing his Achilles while with UCLA last March.
Nevertheless, it isn’t difficult to see that momentum is on the Timberwolves’ side due to their four-game winning streak. Each of those victories came on the road as Minnesota outscored its opponents by an average of 23.5 PPG.
Anthony Edwards has easily been his team’s during their latest run, leading the T-Wolves with 31.0 PPG over the last four outings. Rudy Gobert has also been solid, averaging about a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double while adding 1.8 blocks.
The Timberwolves also easily defeated the Bucks when they first met two weeks ago, walking out of Fiserv Forum with a 129-105 victory as Edwards led the way with a team-high 26 points.
This time, the Timberwolves get to host at Target Center, where they’ve won 15 of their last 20 home games.
The Timberwolves have been lights out at Target Center.
I see this game as being Minnesota’s to lose. The Bucks didn’t look good at all heading into the break and have struggled more often than not under Rivers. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves are one of the best teams in the NBA and will look to pick up right from where they left off. With Target Center being a tough place for visitors to win this season, I see Minny sweeping the season series.
With that in mind, back the Timberwolves to cover the 4-point spread, too. For starters, the T-Wolves are 5-1 ATS in their last six games while the Bucks are not only 5-13 ATS in their last 18, but also 1-11 ATS in their 12 previous road games.
Considering how the Timberwolves beat the Bucks by 24 points as the visitors earlier this month, winning by five or more shouldn’t be an issue tonight.

Best Bucks vs Timberwolves NBA Prop Bet (2/23)
I feel like getting creative with my Bucks vs. Timberwolves player prop, so let’s take Anthony Edwards to hit 4+ three-pointers.
Edwards has been a threat from the three-point line throughout the season and he’s only become more dangerous as of late. Although the two-time NBA All-Star is “only” averaging 3.5 threes made in his last six genes, he hit the Over in four of those contests while shooting 38.9% from the perimeter along the way.
It’s a small sample size, but the Bucks are also allowing opponents to average 14.2 3PM with a 40.3 3P% over their last five games, opening the door for the 22-year-old to find more perimeter success.
After sinking four three-pointers against the Bucks two weeks ago, it’s a no-brainer to ride with this Edwards prop tonight.
