See Picks & Statistics For The GameAfter an impressive win at Cleveland on Friday, the Golden State Warriors will take on another top Eastern Conference team tonight, this time at home, as they welcome the Brooklyn Nets to the Chase Center.
This evening’s matchup between Brooklyn (28-17, 15-10 road, 4th in the Eastern Conference) and Golden State (23-23, 17-5 home, 8th in the Western Conference) will be televised on NBA TV, and you can catch the action at 8:30 pm ET (5:30 pm local time).
On Friday night, the Warriors faced the Cavaliers without Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins, and they went into the game as a double-digit underdog.
But six Warriors scored in double figures, led by Jordan Poole’s 32, and Golden State upset the odds in Cleveland with a 120-114 win.
Tonight, that quartet of key players will be back on the floor, and thus they are firmly favored over the Nets, who had lost four straight without the injured Kevin Durant until Friday’s 117-106 win at Utah, which came courtesy of Kyrie Irving’s 48 points.
Who will take the win tonight at the Chase Center? Read on for our Nets vs Warriors prediction, as well as our picks for the Brooklyn-Golden State matchup.

Will the Nets Win a Second Straight Game Without KD?
When these teams last met, the Nets crushed the Warriors 143-113 at the Barclays Center on December 27.
In that game, the Nets held a 29-point lead after one quarter and a 40-point lead at halftime, and nine different players reached double figures for Brooklyn, led by Durant’s 23.
In that game, the Warriors were without Curry, who was in the midst of a spell on the sidelines due to a shoulder injury. Following that loss, which was their seventh in nine games, the Dubs returned home and won five straight.
Tonight’s game is the first of three straight at the Chase Center for Golden State, and the outcome is likely to be a bit different than it was when these two teams met almost a month ago.
The Nets did well to defeat the Jazz on Friday, thanks to Kyrie’s first 40-point game since April 5 of last year, when he had 42 points in a win over the Houston Rockets. In addition to his 48 points, he had 11 rebounds, six assists, and four steals.
But the Warriors are 12-3 SU at home with Steph on the floor, and that includes a 7-1 mark against teams who entered today .500 or better.
Brooklyn Nets vs Golden State Warriors Prediction and Picks
Nets vs Warriors Prediction: Warriors to win
Nets vs Warriors Picks: Warriors team total over 121.5 (Best Value: BetOnline) & Warriors -7.5
In the 12 home wins that the Warriors have with Steph, nine have come by eight or more points, and they have scored 122+ points in seven of their 12 home wins.
While most of the sources for our picks for this game expect Golden State to take care of business at home tonight, only one is backing them to cover.
That same source is one of the few to favor the Warriors to score 122 or more points tonight as well. I think that source has the right idea.
Brooklyn Nets vs Golden State Warriors Player Props
- Stephen Curry over 4.5 made threes (Best Value: BetMGM)
- Stephen Curry over 26.5 points (Best Value: BetUS)
After sitting out Friday’s game in Cleveland, I expect Steph to come out firing early and often against the Nets, after he made 6 of 18 from three in a 29-point effort against the Boston Celtics on Thursday and 6 of 15 in a 41-point effort against the Washington Wizards last Monday.
