The NBA season is back in full swing and we are going to have a great season ahead of us betting props!
I got heavily into the players props aspect of the NBA last season and enjoyed playing that much more than sides.
I much prefer betting on the players to get their job done, instead of relying on the teams.
There are so many games in the NBA season and one-off blowouts and bad performances happen so I prefer to stick with the individual players in advantageous spots.
Follow along with me all season to find the best value in the Player Prop market.
That said, let’s dive in to today’s games and the spots I am looking at.
ALL PROPS AVAILABLE ON FANDUEL
Tyrese Haliburton o28.5 Points+Assists (-110)
Haliburton has come out on fire to start the season, with insane usage and scoring. He has gone well over this line in his first 3 games, the lowest being 33.
There is a tiny worry that the 76ers come out in this matchup and run the Pacers out of the building.
Even so, Haliburton is way too involved in the offense and will have the ball in his hands constantly. He will have plenty of chances early and often to reach this line, and hopefully keep this one close.
I love playing these combo lines on guys who excel in one area but are also capable scorers. You will see me attack a lot of these spots with avid rebounders throughout the season as well.
It just allows you the insurance that just in case they don’t quite cover their assist or rebound line, they finish the job with a nice points output.
Paolo Banchero o18.5 pts (-118)
I got this line last night at 17.5 so it goes to show that other people agree with this play.
I still love it at 18.5 as Banchero hasn’t had less than 20 to start the season.
He played 30+ mins in the first 3 games to start the season and is going to be a big part of the Magic offense this season.
It was also nice to see that even in the last game against the Celtics, when he started slow, he continued to be aggressive and continue to shoot.
Some rookies if they start slow or don’t see their shots fall, lose confidence and become passive. Banchero has stayed aggressive and is taking on offensive responsibility.
I feel like this number will be set at 20+ soon if he keeps hitting this line with ease so let’s take advantage of the lower number while we still have it.
I am going to ladder his points as well, like this….
Ladder Play
Banchero o18.5 points (-118)…1 unit
Banchero 20+ points (+102)…0.5 unit
Banchero 25+ points (+310)…0.25 units
I love laddering players when I think their line is too low. It is a great way to maximize returns with minimal investment while still making a profit.
I love that the NBA is back and I can’t wait for a profitable season betting on props!
