The Philadelphia 76ers (29-16) look to put an end to their losing streak when they visit the Golden State Warriors (19-24) for one of five NBA games scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 30.

The 76ers must pull themselves together after losing 130-104 to the Portland Trail Blazers last night, extending their losing streak to three games in the process. Meanwhile, the Warriors are coming off a thrilling 145-144 double-overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, marking the 10th loss in their last 14 games.
Even though neither side has played particularly well lately, the 76ers are much closer to being a championship team than the Warriors. Philadelphia is currently tied for the fifth-best odds (+1200) to win the 2023-24 NBA Finals while Golden State is tied for 14th (+5000), per BetOnline’s futures markets.
With a big matchup in store at Chase Center, here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s 76ers vs. Warriors clash, including the latest odds, an expert prediction, and the best bets.

76ers vs Warriors Prediction & Pick (1/30): Which Skid Ends in San Fran?
The good news for these two teams is that one of their losing skids will come to an end tonight.
As mentioned before, the 76ers are coming off three straight losses after just playing last night. They’re 4-4 SU when playing with zero days of rest this season and winning tonight will only be more difficult if Joel Embiid (knee) and Tyrese Maxey (ankle) can’t suit up. The elite duo has missed the last two games and their absence was felt as Philadelphia only averaged 104.5 PPG on .488/.216/.864 splits.
The 76ers are 3-9 SU when Embiid misses a game this season and 0-3 SU when Maxey doesn’t suit up.
Additionally, Kenneth Lofton Jr. (personal) is questionable while Robert Covington (knee) and De’Anthony Melton (back).
How will the 76ers fare if Joel Embiid (knee) can’t suit up tonight?
The Warriors, meanwhile, will be missing Gary Payton II (hamstring), Moses Moody (calf), and Chris Paul (hand).
Having said that, Golden State’s offense has been playing extremely well lately, scoring at least 133 points in each of the last three games. Unsurprisingly, Stephen Curry has been responsible for most of the production, averaging 34.7 points and 6.7 threes made on 46.5% shooting. It isn’t like he’s doing it all alone, though, as Jonathan Kuminga and Klay Thomspon are averaging 26.0 and 21.3 points, respectively, during that stretch.
I can see Golden State’s offensive success continuing if Philadelphia can’t guard the perimeter. Although the 76ers have been one of the best teams at guarding the three-ball this season, they’ve allowed their last three opponents to average 12.3 threes on 39.8% shooting.
This game taking place at Chase Center also works in the Warriors’ favor considering how they’re 9-2 SU with a plus-12.5 average scoring margin. In fact, Golden State most recently picked up a 120-112 home win over Philadelphia on March 24, 2023, in a game where both Embiid and Maxey were active.
Can the Warriors defeat the 76ers, once again, on home court?
With the uncertainty surrounding Embiid and Maxey’s status, I’m taking the Warriors to win tonight. Yes, Golden State has struggled a lot lately, however, the last two losses came by one point apiece, proving how close the team has come to winning. Considering how the 76ers are struggling to stop a nosebleed at the moment, the Warriors are more than capable of winning as long as they stick to the game plan.
I also recommend backing the Warriors to cover the spread. Steve Kerr’s team has covered the spread four times across the last six games and is 4-1 ATS in the last five outings on a Tuesday. The 76ers, meanwhile, are 1-4 ATS in their last five games, 2-5 ATS in their last seven road contests, and 1-3 ATS in their last four away games against the Warriors.
I won’t be surprised if the Sixers have issues keeping things close if Maxey and/or Embiid are out, hence why taking the Dubs to cover is the way to go.

Best 76ers vs Warriors NBA Prop Bet (1/30)
After checking out BetOnline’s 76ers vs. Warriors player props, I have to take the Over on Stephen Curry’s 27.5-point total.
Curry is still one of the best scorers in the NBA and he’s proven that lately, tallying 33 and 46 points in his last two games. He’s now hit the Over on this prop 19 times this season with 13 of those instances occurring at Chase Center. Furthermore, he’s finished with at least 28 points in six of his last nine games against the 76ers, which includes a 29-point effort last March.
With how poorly the 76ers have been defending the perimeter, Curry is in a great spot for another explosive night.
