The playoffs are closing in when the Xfinity drivers take on their 22nd race of the season. Saturday’s race will take place in New York at Watkins Glen.
Seven drivers are locked into the 12 driver playoff field with just a couple races left before the Round of 12 begins. Ty Gibbs leads all drivers with 5 wins, and he is atop the playoff leaderboard.
Watkins Glen will not be easy for the Xfinity drivers to lock in a playoff spot, as 4 Cup Series drivers will make a start on Saturday. Cole Custer, William Byron, Kyle Larson, and Ross Chastain will move down a level and run both races at the Glen.

NASCAR Xfinity Series at Watkins Glen Best Bets
Kyle Larson +270
Larson will take a huge step backwards for some practice before his big race on Sunday. Larson will try to play spoiler for a lot of drivers who are using this race as a chance to lock their name into the playoffs.
Larson’s skill is at the top of the list this weekend, and it will be extremely difficult to knock him out of the top spot. He has developed himself as a really good racer on ovals, but he has some work to do on road courses. He only has one Top 10 out of the 4 Cup Series road courses this season.
Be careful with Larson. He certainly has the most talent and the best parts, but his history this season on road courses is a bit shaky. His value isn’t the highest, but he is a safer option as he is moving down a level.
A.J. Allmendinger +330
Allmendinger is always dangerous on road courses. It is his biggest strength, and he has 3 wins and a 6th place finish in his 4 races on road courses in the Xfinity Series this season alone.
His 18 Top 10s leads the series, and in his 21 races this season he has found victory lane 3 times. All 3 of his wins have been at road courses, so he will aim for an 80% win rate at non-ovals.
Allmendinger has more value than Larson, and he has just as much talent on road courses as the full-time Cup Series driver. Before more people jump on Allmendinger, make sure to lock in the higher value at +330.
Noah Gragson +2000
Gragson has one of the highest values this week. He is second in playoff points, and he has the most stage wins this season. He also has 15 Top 10s and 11 Top 5s in just 21 races.
Gragson will have to battle through the rest of the Cup drivers this weekend, but he has a shot for win #4 on the season. He has more than locked in his playoff spot, so he will instead focus on taking over the #1 spot from Ty Gibbs.
The return on Gragson is fantastic, and he has a really good shot at a win. If he qualifies well, expect more stage wins and possibly even a cash out. lock in value soon because he is expected to lose value as the race gets closer.
