There are only two races to go until the playoffs begin in the Camping World Truck Series. The 15th race of the season will take place at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
Mid-Ohio is a 2.4 mile road course with 15 turns and plenty of change in elevation. It has hosted auto events since 1962, and it is one of the new staples in the Truck Series.
The race on Friday will consist of 67 laps and 151 miles of racing. Zane Smith, the leader in the points, has the edge in the odds according to BetOnline. He will be aiming for his 4th win of the season.

Zane Smith +400
Smith leads the Truck Series in wins, Top 10s, Top 5s and playoff points. He has found victory lane 3 times this season, and he has finished every race without trouble.
He has 3 straight Top 3 finishes, but has not found victory lane since his dominant performance in Kansas. He has vaulted himself into 1st in points with the consistent finishes over the past month.
Even with the shortest odds to win on Saturday, Zane Smith may hold the best value, as he has finished no less than 2nd in each of the road course races this season. Jump on the bet before the odds get shorter.
Carson Hocevar +440
Hocevar saw a boost in points last time out with a 3rd place finish at Nashville. He currently sits 8th in points, even without a win on the year. He is in a good position heading into the last couple of starts before the playoffs begin.
Hocevar has finished in the Top 10 in each road course race this season, and he started on the pole three races ago in Sonoma. He has two runner-up finishes this season, and he has improved as the season has progressed.
If Hocevar can have a good qualifying run on Friday, expect another solid performance on a road course. He is more of an underdog than Zane Smith, but he holds good value at +440.
John Hunter Nemechek +550
Nemechek is always a threat wherever the series goes, but he has a Top 5 and Top 10 finish this year on road courses. The most consistent driver in the field has only finished outside the Top 10 4 times this year.
Nemechek sits in 2nd place in the points with two races until the playoffs begin. He locked himself into the playoffs with a win at Darlington early in the year. Since that win, he has only failed to finish in the Top 10 once.
His betting line is higher than normal, so the value has gone up for him. He has started on the pole 4 times this season, so if he can put together another solid run, we should see him towards the front at the end of the race.
