The only race among the top NASCAR series this weekend is the NASCAR Truck Series race in Knoxville, Iowa. With the Cup Series and Xfinity Series in an off week, we turn our attention to the trucks.
The race will take place at Knoxville Raceway. It is a half-mile dirt oval that has been labeled the “Sprint Car Capital of the World”. The track has been around since 1878, but has been hosting auto races since 1901.
Austin Hill was the champion last season at this event, but with his name not in the field this season, there will be a new winner.

John Hunter Nemechek +600
With only one finish outside the Top 25 this season, Nemechek has been one of the most consistent drivers in the field.
Nemechek sits 4th in points, just 14 points out of first place. He has one win and 5 Top 5s in just 12 races. He finished 3rd at the Bristol Dirt Track, so he is capable of handling different styles of track and terrain.
With an 11th place finish in the event last year, Nemechek has pounced to the top of our list as he improves upon his average finish last season.
Ben Rhodes +650
Rhodes had a 7th place finish last year at Knoxville. His only win this season came at the Bristol dirt. Needless to say, Rhodes can drive on dirt.
He leads the series in points and has 5 Top 5s and 8 Top 10s. Rhodes is the defending Truck Series champion and he is in good position to try for back-to-back titles.
Rhodes is not the overall favorite, but he is a safe bet with his consistency this season. The bet still holds a lot of value as he sits at +650 at BetOnline.
Zane Smith +650
Zane Smith sits 3rd in points with the most wins this season. Hee has found victory lane on three occasions this year. His most recent triumph came at Kansas last month.
Smith also holds the most Top 10s out of any driver. He has 10 of them in just 12 races. One of those Top 10s came on dirt in Bristol. He is coming directly off a 2nd place finish last weekend at Sonoma.
Smith provides even more value than Rhodes, due to the fact that their line is the same, and he has more consistent finishes. Smith will be at the front when this race is over, so be sure to snag him when the line presents good value.
