UFC Vegas 92 Preliminary Card Odds & Picks
UFC St. Louis Prelim Fight Record: 2-4
UFC St. Louis Prelim Best Bet Record: 2-4
Oumar Sy vs. Tuco Tokkos — Light Heavyweight
- Record: Oumar Sy (9-0) vs. Tuco Tokkos (10-3)
- Moneyline: Oumar Sy (TBD) | Tuco Tokkos (TBD)
- Round total: TBD — Over (TBD) | Under (TBD)
Odds aren’t available for this fight at the time of writing, however, I like Oumar Sy’s chances of remaining perfect. The Paris native has looked great to begin his MMA career and already boasts a 77.8% finish rate through nine fights. Tuco Tokkos is solid when he’s on his game, but I can’t ignore how he’s been knocked out twice — including by Mingyang Zhang in the 2022 Road to UFC: Singapore quarterfinals.
Look for Sy to pick up another finish as he begins his UFC career.
Sy vs. Tokkos Prediction: Oumar Sy
Sy vs. Tokkos Best Bet: Sy via KO/TKO (TBD)

Victor Martinez vs. Tom Nolan — Lightweight
- Record: Victor Martinez (13-5) vs. Tom Nolan (6-1)
- Moneyline: Victor Martinez (+375) | Tom Nolan (-475)
- Round total: 1.5 — Over (+130) | Under (-160)
I’m not going to try to get cute and overthink things regarding this fight. Victor Martinez was TKO’d by Jordan Leavitt in his UFC debut and now has to face Tom Nolan, who’s going to be hungry to bounce back after being knocked out by Nikolas Motta back in January.
Although I see Nolan continuing to grow his momentum, I’m taking the Over on the 1.5-round total as the best bet. After all, not only do these lightweights have 12 knockouts between them, but each of Nolan’s last five fights lasted fewer than 1.5 rounds while three of Martinez’s last four outings missed the mark.
Martinez vs. Nolan Prediction: Tom Nolan
Martinez vs. Nolan Best Bet: u1.5 Total Rounds (-160)
Tamires Vidal vs. Melissa Gatto — Women’s Bantamweight
- Record: Tamires Vidal (7-2) vs. Melissa Gatto (8-2-2)
- Moneyline: Tamires Vidal (+250) | Melissa Gatto (-310)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-145) | Under (+115)
I’m not sure how I feel about this fight. On one hand, Tamires Vidal is coming off a split-decision loss to Montserrat Rendon, who doesn’t appear to be anything special. On the other hand, Melissa Gattoo has suffered back-to-back losses to Tracy Cortez and Ariane Lipski via points.
While I can see Gatto winning due to her UFC experience, I’m simply going to back the fight to go the distance. Gatto went the distance in her last two fights while three of Vidal’s six previous outings also reached the round limit. Considering how they also have one loss via a finish between them, we could have a lengthy fight on our hands.
Vidal vs. Gatto Prediction: Melissa Gatto
Vidal vs. Gatto Best Bet: Fight to Go the Distance — Yes (-120)
Abus Magomedov vs. Warlley Alves — Middleweight
- Record: Abus Magomedov (25-6-1) vs. Warlley Alves (14-7)
- Moneyline: Abus Magomedov (-285) | Warlley Alves (+245)
- Round total: 1.5 — Over (+105) | Under (-135)
Both of these middleweight could use a win this weekend, but I’m siding with Abus Magomedov. Warlley Alves has been too erratic to trust, coming off three consecutive losses as he drops to 2-5 in his last seven fights. While Magomedov has lost back-to-back outings, those losses came against solid opponents in Sean Strickland and Caio Borralho.
Considering how Alves has been knocked out three times in his last seven fights, I feel comfortable with taking Magomedov inside the distance.
Magomedov vs. Alves Prediction: Abus Magomedov
Magomedov vs. Alves Best Bet: Magomedov Inside the Distance (-165)

Piera Rodriguez vs. Ariane Carnelossi — Women’s Strawweight
- Record: Piera Rodriguez (9-1) vs. Ariane Carnelossi (14-3)
- Moneyline: Piera Rodriguez (+185) | Ariane Carnelossi (-220)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-250) | Under (+200)
Here’s another fight that I’m not a huge fan of as neither woman has fought in quite some time. Piera Rodriguez is set to return after losing to Gillian Robertson (via submission) back in April 2023 while Arian Carnelossi hasn’t fought since her unanimous decision loss to Loopy Godinez over two years ago.
In a fight that could go either way, I’d be willing to sprinkle a few bucks on a Rodriguez upset. She has some decent value at +185 on the moneyline and the fact that she’s fought more recently than Carnelossi could work to her advantage.
Rodriguez vs. Carnelossi Prediction: Piera Rodriguez
Rodriguez vs. Carnelossi Best Bet: Rodriguez ML (+185)
Alateng Heili vs. Kleydson Rodrigues — Flyweight
- Record: Alateng Heili (16-9-2) vs. Kleydson Rodrigues (8-3)
- Moneyline: Alateng Heili (+128) | Kleydson Rodrigues (-148)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-214) | Under (+174)
Both of these flyweights could desperately use a win in Las Vegas. Alateng Heili has fought inconsistently lately, going 2-2-1 across his last five fights. At the same time, Kelydson Rodrigues only owns a 1-2 UFC record, having most recently been submitted by Farid Basharat back in September.
I won’t be surprised if this fight goes the distance and if that’s the case, I like Alateng winning via points. He’s built up his endurance by going the distance in six of his last seven outings and has enough experience to edge out Rodrigues this weekend.
Alateng vs. Rodrigues Prediction: Alateng Heili
Alateng vs. Rodrigues Best Bet: Alateng via Points (+250)
Vanessa Demopoulos vs. Emily Ducote — Women’s Strawweight
- Record: Vanessa Demopoulos (10-5) vs. Emily Ducote (13-8)
- Moneyline: Vanessa Demopoulos (+280) | Emily Ducote (-340)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-500) | Under (+375)
I’m going with another upset pick by backing Vanessa Demopoulos to win at UFC Vegas 92. Emily Ducote is the heavy favorite, but she’s fought to mixed results since debuting, going 2-2 so far. Meanwhile, Demopoulous is 4-1 since her strawweight return with that only loss coming when she missed weight last May.
Ducote’s latest fights have proven that the door is open for an upset, so don’t hesitate to get in on the Demopoulous action.
Demopoulous vs. Ducote Prediction: Vanessa Demopoulos
Demopoulous vs. Ducote Best Bet: Demopoulous ML (+280)
