The Ultimate Fighting Championship is back in Kentucky this weekend for UFC Louisville on Saturday. The upcoming event will take place at KFC Yum! Center and will be headlined by a massive middleweight bout between former UFC middleweight challenger Jared Cannonier and the always-tough Nassourdine Imavov.
Betting News is here every week to help with your UFC picks and this time isn’t any different. Let’s dive into my UFC Louisville: Cannonier vs. Imavov betting preview as we look at the card’s complete odds as well as my main event and prelim predictions.
UFC Louisville Main Card Fights & Odds
All UFC Louisville: Cannonier vs. Imavov odds are courtesy of BetOnline as of Friday, June 8 at 11:55 a.m.
UFC on ESPN 57 Main event: Jared Cannonier vs Nassourdine Imavov — Middleweight
- Record: Jared Cannonier (17-6) vs. Nassourdine Imavov (13-4, 1 NC)
- Moneyline: Jared Cannonier (+105) | Nassourdine Imavov (-125)
- Round total: 4.5 — Over (-133) | Under (+103)
- Most likely method of victory: Imavov via Points (+175)
This middleweight main event is exciting because it could legitimately go either way. Both fighters are tough customers who rarely lose and have combined for 30 wins in 41 fights. Having said that, I like Jared Cannonier’s odds of winning. Even though he’s the underdog, he’s won four of his last five fights which includes wins over foes like Marvin Vettori, Sean Strickland, and Derek Brunson.
Nassourdine Imavov is great, but his recent fights have been inconsistent. He lost to Strickland (via UD) in Las Vegas in January 2023, fought Chris Curtis to a no-contest at UFC 289 after they collided heads, and then defeated Roman Dolidze via majority decision four months ago, however, he was deducted a point for an illegal kick.
At the end of the day, Cannonier is more than capable of pulling off an upset, so take him to win by points.
Cannonier vs. Imavov Fight Prediction: Jared Cannonier
Cannonier vs. Imavov Best Bet: Cannonier via Points (+235)

- Moneyline: Brunno Ferreira (-275) | Dustin Stoltzfus (+235)

UFC Louisville Preliminary Card Odds & Picks
UFC 302 Prelim Fight Record: 5-1
UFC 302 Prelim Best Bet Record: 4-2
Thiago Moises vs. Ľudovit Klein — Light Heavyweight
- Record: Thiago Moises (18-7) vs. Ľudovit Klein (21-4-1)
- Moneyline: Thiago Moises (+115) | Ľudovit Klein (-135)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-120) | Under (-110)
Here’s a light heavyweight bout that could easily be won by either fight, but I’m taking L’udovit Klein to win. The gifted Slovakian striker hasn’t lost a fight in nearly three years, going 4-0-1 across his last five bouts. Thiago Moises has amassed a solid resume, but I can’t ignore that he’s been finished three times in his last six outings.
With that in mind, I’m more than comfortable with taking Klein outright this weekend.
Moises vs. Klein Prediction: L’udovit Klein
Moises vs. Klein Best Bet: Klein ML (-135)

Charles Radtke vs. Carlos Prates — Welterweight
- Record: Charles Radtke (9-3) vs. Carlos Prates (18-6)
- Moneyline: Charles Radtke (+198) | Carlos Prates (-233)
- Round total: 1.5 — Over (-145) | Under (+115)
After beginning his UFC run with a 2-0 start, Charles Radtke faces an uphill battle in Louisville. Carlos Prates knocked each of the last seven men who stepped into the octagon with him, finishing them all before the end of Round 2 — including Trevin Giles in his UFC debut.
I’m not going to overthink things in this fight. Prates is an absolute beast and shouldn’t have an issue finishing Radtke, who was last KO’d just three years ago.
Radtke vs. Prates Prediction: Carlos Prates
Radtke vs. Prates Best Bet: Prates Inside the Distance (-130)
Brad Katona vs. Jesse Butler — Welterweight
- Record: Brad Katona (13-3) vs. Jesse Butler (12-5)
- Moneyline: Brad Katona (-650) | Jesse Butler (+475)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-240) | Under (+190)
Brad Katona is, by far, the biggest favorite on the UFC Louisville card with -650 moneyline odds (86.7%). It shouldn’t come as a surprise seeing as Katona is The Ultimate Fighter 31 Bantamweight winner whereas Jesse Butler suffered a first-round KO loss to Jim Miller in his UFC debut.
Considering how he only has one finish in his last 11 fights, Katona will most likely need to go the distance to get the job done again.
Katona vs. Butler Prediction: Brad Katona
Katona vs. Butler Best Bet: Katona via Points (-185)
Andrea Lee vs. Montana De La Rosa — Women’s Flyweight
- Record: Andrea Lee (13-9) vs. Montana De La Rosa (12-9-1)
- Moneyline: Andrea Lee (-160) | Montana De La Rosa (+140)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-365) | Under (+290)
Here’s a fight that I’m not a big fan of putting money on. Both women have struggled to win as Andre Lee is only 2-7 in her last nine bouts and hasn’t won since November 2021 while Montana De La Rosa finds herself on a three-fight losing streak.
If I had to choose, though, I’d take Lee outright. She has more recent wins than De La Rosa while also outclassing her in terms of both striking and grappling stats. I think it’s best to stick with a simple bet until these fighters show more consistency.
Lee vs. De La Rosa Prediction: Andre Lee
Lee vs. De La Rosa Best Bet: Lee ML (-160)
John Castaneda vs. Daniel Marcos — Bantamweight
- Record: John Castaneda (21-6) vs. Daniel Marcos (15-0, 1 NC)
- Moneyline: John Castaneda (-101) | Daniel Marcos (-119)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-250) | Under (+200)
I’ve been going back and forth on this bantamweight battle. On one hand, John Castaneda has the experience advantage on top of winning four of five fights since the beginning of 2021. On the other hand, Daniel Marcos began his MMA career with 15 consecutive wins and likely would’ve notched a 16th had he not accidentally hit Aori Qileng’s groin back in February.
At the end of the day, I’m taking Castaneda to win by points. He’s the more well-rounded fighter of the two and I wouldn’t be shocked if his wrestling eventually gets the better of Marcos. It’s going to come down to the wire, but Castaneda’s experience will pay off in the end.
Castaneda vs. Marcos Prediction: John Castaneda
Castaneda vs. Marcos Best Bet: Castenada via Points (+170)
Eduarda Moura vs. Denise Gomes — Women’s Strawweight
- Record: Eduarda Moura (10-0) vs. Denise Gomes (8-3)
- Moneyline: Eduarda Moura (-200) | Denise Gomes (+170)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-105) | Under (-125)
Here’s another UFC Louisville fight where we won’t overthink things. After being beat out by Angela Hill in Brazil, Denise Gomes must now go one-on-one with Eduarda Moura, who’s on a 10-fight winning streak and just TKO’d Montserrat Ruiz in her UFC debut. That’s without mentioning how Moura has the height, reach, and age advantages in this bout.
With a 90% finish rate to begin her MMA career, taking Moura to win inside the distance.
Moura vs. Gomes Prediction: Eduarda Moura
Moura vs. Gomes Best Bet: Moura Inside the Distance (+170)

Cody Stamann vs. Taylor Lapilus — Bantamweight
- Record: Cody Stamann (21-6-1) vs. Taylor Lapilus (19-4)
- Moneyline: Cody Stamann (+239) | Taylor Lapilus (-279)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-360) | Under (+285)
After an impressive 19-2-1 run, Cody Stamann has dropped to an abysmal 2-4 in his last six outings. Things don’t get any issuer now that he’s facing Taylor Lapilus. The 32-year-old Frenchman is hungry for revenge after a loss to Farid Basharat ended his six-fight winning streak in January.
Stamann’s best days are behind him as he hasn’t beaten anyone noteworthy in years. Both fighters are solid grapplers, though, so there’s a good chance that Lapilus must go the distance to overcome the underdog.
Stamann vs. Lapilus Prediction: Taylor Lapilus
Stamann vs. Lapilus Best Bet: Lapilus via Points (-145)
Rayanne dos Santos vs. Puja Tomar — Women’s Strawweight
- Record: Rayanne dos Santos (14-7) vs. Puja Tomar (8-4)
- Moneyline: Rayanne dos Santos (-331) | Puja Tomar (+271)
- Round total: 2.5 — Over (-160) | Under (+130)
After years of grinding, Puja Tomar is set to make her UFC debut following four consecutive wins. Unfortunately, her luck has likely run out. Rayanne dos Santos may have been defeated in her own debut, but she’s still a former Invicta FC Atomweight Champion who’s 9-3 in her last 12 bouts.
Dos Santos will be more than determined to bounce back, so expect her to make an example of Tomar. The underdog is far from a proficient grappler, so back dos Santos to win via submission.
Dos Santos vs. Tomar Prediction: Rayanne dos Santos
Dos Santos vs. Tomar Best Bet: Dos Santos via Submission (+165)
