UFC London media week has been a wild ride and we are less then 24 hours away from the action kicking off! With a successful weigh in, all 26 fighters came in on weight and all 13 bouts have been made official!
Headlined by a huge match up in the Welterweight Division, English star Leon Edwards looks to de -rail the rising prospect in Sean Brady.
The 2 finally faced off after weigh ins and the height discrepancy is glaring. Leon, with a 3” advantage seemingly towered over Brady. Brady being the more physical specimen of the 2, did not seem to shy away from the disadvantage.
With a grappling gameplan, Brady is looking to make the height a non factor. He is Streaking with a 2 fight win streak, will Leon have the takedown awareness to take him to deep waters?

UFC London Main Event: Leon Edwards vs Sean Brady Analysis, Best Bet, & Prediction

Leon Edwards looks to de rail the Sean Brady Hype train in his back yard
The UFC is live from across the pond tomorrow night with an action packed fight card! Headlined by hometown fighter Leon Edwards taking on new comer in Sean Brady.
Leon is fresh off a career worse performance in which he lost the welterweight belt. He just never got it going that night and seemed to be stuck in the mud in there. Throwing lots of faints with no real volume behind anything , it seemed the threat of the takedown loomed large on his mind.
Having grappling credentials in his own right, he has struggled defending takedowns as of late. Giving up 20 total takedowns in his last 4 fights. Including 9 in his last fight alone, where he was also out struck by over 21 significant strikes.
Leon has been on record saying the time of the fight, 4 am London time, affected his performance. Having rode an impressive 12 fight win streak before that, its hard not to believe him. Although the writing is on the wall for the English fighter in my opinion with an obvious decline in the grappling department of late.
Leon shines in the kickboxing department, with phenomenal movement. Throwing with volume and mixing his attacks from the legs to the head with a stiff jab. He is sure to have the striking advantage in the matchup.
Will Leon get back in the Win Column?

Headlined by the Home town Fighter Leon Edwards taking on the American Sean Brady
Brady is coming into this fight riding momentum himself. With a 2 fight winning streak over proven UFC veterans Brady has shown he is ready for the top of the division. He put on an a grappling clinic against veteran Kelvin Gastelum where he was able to find the finish.
Following that up with another impressive grappling showing over Gilbert Burns. In that fight we saw him fade off a little as the fight got into the later rounds. It could be due to the high grappling pace or it could be cause for cardio concerns on Bradys side.
Striking isn’t his strong suit for sure, but he does have very serviceable boxing. With heavy hands in the pocket and a stiff jab, he’s shown he can strike with the best. While his striking defense tends to lack at times, his chin has help up so far.
In a fight where Brady will for sure have to wrestle for 25 minutes, Im not so convinced Brady has the cardio to do that. As this fight gets later, I believe Leons volume on the feet will add up and break Brady in the later rounds.

Co Main Event: Jan Blachowicz vs Carlos Ulberg Analysis – Light Heavyweight

Co Main Event features a massive Light Heavyweight match up
The Co Main Event at UFC London is sure to be fireworks with a massive match up in the Light Heavyweight division.
Carlos Ulberg is coming into this fight red hot riding a 7 fight win streak. Finishing 5 of those, with 4 knock outs and a submission in the mix as well. The prospect has shown a well rounded skillset in the octagon.
Predominantly being a kickboxer, Ulberg has a very deep bag of tricks when it comes to striking. He likes to pick his opponent apart at range, with a nasty inside left hook if they try to blitz their way into range.
Training out of City Kickboxing in Australia Ulberg is well coached and has been waiting for his moment. He has earned this step up in competition it certainly was not handed to him.
Can Ulberg pass the veteran test?

UFC London Face off
Jan Blachowicz is looking to get back in the win column at UFC London. At the ripe age of 42 years old, Blachowicz is fighting father time at this point in his career.
Coming off a 2 year lay off and shoulder injuries, Jan certainly has his work cut out for him Saturday night. It is hard to judge just where Jan is at in his career due to his inactivity. What we do know is his last real win came way back in 2021 and it has been a tough road since.
Being known for his “Polish” power, Jan is predominantly a striker with a sufficient grappling game. He has used his grappling in the past against long kickboxers to secure the victory. Including Ulberg’s team mate, Isreal Adesanya.
The cardio has always been a major concern for him, typically fading in the later rounds of all his fights. If he is forced to implement a wrestle heavy game plan, I expect him to run out of gas sooner then later. The durability has also been a concern for Blachowicz being finished 4 times over his career.
With all factors considered, I find it hard to believe this fight sees the judges score cards.
Jan Blachowicz vs Carlos Ulberg Prediction: Carlos Ulberg Wins (-282) at BetOnline.ag
Jan Blachowicz vs Carlos Ulberg Best Bet: Under 2.5 Total Rounds (+110) at BetOnline.ag
Jordan Vucenic vs Chris Duncan Analysis – Lightweight
Jordan Vucenic is looking to make his return to the octagon Saturday with a full fight camp this time. He made his debut on short notice and put on a great fight against veteran striker Guram Kutateladze.
Vucenic is a very well rounded fighter with solid striking and a better grappling game. He was able to secure a few takedowns in his debut, and I expect a higher grappling pace with a full fight camp. His striking is also very versatile, mixing in heavy leg kicks with a solid boxing game.
He has made his name in the UK regional scene, earning his UFC contract with impressive wins and hard work. The crowd is sure to be behind him Saturday night as he is a hometown kid.
Will Vucenic make the most of his 2nd opportunity?

Hometown kid Jordan Vucenic takes on Chris Duncan
Chris Duncan is riding the momentum of a big upset victory over top prospect Bolaji Oki. He has had a sucessful run in the UFC thus far. Going 3-1 since his contender series victory which earned him his UFC contract. In all of Duncans fights it seems as if he is losing until he some how upsets his opponent.
Weather that be with his heavy hands , such as in his contender series victory over Campbell. Or with his grappling such as his submission win over Oki. The common denominator is he has to get beat up to drag his opponent to deep waters and turn the tables of the fight.
He is a solid grappler with good takedowns and top control. The striking defense needs serious improvement, specifically his head movement in pocket exchanges.
Fighting out of a great gym in ATT, I expect Duncan to come into this fight with a great gameplan to stifle the prospect. I just do not believe Duncan has the skills it will take to execute at the level needed to win on the judges score cards.
Jordan Vucenic vs Chris Duncan Prediction: Jordan Vucenic Wins (-400) at BetOnline.ag
Jordan Vucenic vs Chris Duncan Best Bet: Jordan Vucenic Wins by Points (+200) at BetOnline.ag
