See Picks & Statistics For The GameSunday Night Baseball is back on ESPN tonight with two AL East rivals facing off. The Baltimore Orioles host the New York Yankees in the series finale on national television tonight!
These teams have seen each other a total of 12 times already, and this is there final matchup of the season.
The Orioles lead the AL East, while the Yankees are currently in last. However, only 8 games separate these teams.
The Yankees will need some help from other teams to take down the Orioles, but the playoffs and division are still within reach if they get hot.
Let’s breakdown tonight’s Sunday Night Baseball matchup!
Yankees vs Orioles Season Recap
This one is for all the marbles.
This is game 13 between these squads, and the season series is perfectly tied at six games a piece. The Orioles have slightly outscored the Yankees, leading them 59-54 on total runs, thanks to a 14-1 routing of New York at Yankee Stadium before the All Star Break.
Both offense are electric, and with Aaron Judge back in the lineup, we could see some runs today.
The race for the AL East is as tight as it will ever get, so we’re in for an incredible matchup today.

Sunday Night Baseball Showdown
There’s no love lost between these two teams and they’ve got some great history.
It’s really a story book ending that the season series would be decided on national television on Sunday Night Baseball.
Dean Kremer has face the Yankees twice this year. In the first outing at home, he only went 5 innings before giving up 4 runs on 5 hits. He did have 4 strikeouts, but he walked 3 batters and the Orioles lost.
His next outing, he pitched 7 innings, striking out 10 and allowing just 1 run on 4 hits, as he and the Orioles picked up the win on the road, 6-3.
Luis Severino pitched once against the Orioles and it did not go well. In just 2.2 innings, Severino gave up 7 Earned Runs on 10 hits before being pulled.
Needless to say, this was the game the Orioles spanked the Yankees 14-1.
I think the Orioles could round the bases against him again early and often.

Player Props
Ryan O’Hearn over 1.5 Bases (+130)
O’Hearn isn’t on any sort of hit streak, but he rakes against the Yankees.
He bats lefty, and smashes .305 off of righties. Severino struggles against lefties, allowing them to bat .308 this season.
O’Hearn has played in 7 games against the Yankees this year, and he’s cleared in 5 of those 7. He has 8 hits and 14 bases in those games, and I think he can do it again tonight.
For plus money, I love that O’Hearn has a single and a double against Severino, batting 1.000 against him in his career.
Let’s ride, Ryan.
