MLB Probable Starting Pitchers for Today (Thursday, April 21)

In sports betting, having at least some level of knowledge of what or who you are betting on is one of the most helpful aspects to being able to come out on the winning side. In fact, in the modern era of baseball (from 1900 to the present day), only 23 teams have had a winning percentage of .300 or lower in a single season. And of those 23 teams, only three are recent: the 2003 and 2019 Detroit Tigers and 2008 Baltimore Orioles.

Also, it was only three seasons ago that the NL Cy Young Award went to a pitcher–Jacob deGrom with the 74-88 Mets in 2018–who was on a team that posted a losing record.
