See Picks & Statistics For The GameIf Aaron Judge is to his record-breaking 62nd home run in front of a home crowd, today is his last chance to do so, as the New York Yankees will play their final home game of the regular season this afternoon against the Baltimore Orioles.
After wrapping up their series with Baltimore, the Yankees’ regular season schedule will conclude with four road games against the Texas Rangers.
With the Yankees already locked in as the #2 seed in the American League and the Orioles’ playoff hopes extinguished, the full focus for today’s game will be Judge’s ongoing quest to set a new slugging standard for both his franchise and the AL.

Orioles vs. Yankees Prediction: Orioles to win
Orioles vs. Yankees Picks: Orioles ML (Best Value: +145 at BetUS)
The wait continues for Judge, who is not getting many good pitches to hit and has not capitalized on the rare occasion he has gotten a good pitch to hit.
He’s certainly ended up on base plenty, however. Since hitting his 60th homer on September 20, Judge is 7 for 27 (.259) with 17 walks. In yesterday’s 8-0 win, he was 0 for 2 with two walks and two strikeouts and was hit by a pitch by Austin Voth in his first at-bat.
Judge has yet to face Bradish, but he is hitting .328 with 47 homers in 424 at-bats against RHP this season. He is averaging a homer every 9.02 at-bats vs. RHP and one every 9.29 -bats vs. LHP. Also, he is hitting .311 with 30 homers in 286 at-bats–a homer every 9.53 at-bats at home and .315 with 31 homers in 270 at-bats–a homer every 8.71 at-bats–on the road.
Aaron Judge Props and Home Run Odds (October 2)

- To record 2+ hits: +240
- Judge to hit a home run and the Yankees to win: +350
Odds are via BetOnline.
Bradish got roughed up by the Boston Red Sox last Tuesday, allowing four hits, four walks, and seven runs in 2.1 innings in the Orioles’ 13-9 loss.
But recent performances indicate that he is in line for a bounce-back performance this afternoon. In the previous three starts after he allowed three or more runs, he was outstanding.
- August 26 at Houston: 8 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K
- September 11 vs. Boston: 7 IP, 2 H, R (ER), 2 BB, 3 K
- September 22 vs. Houston: 8.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 10 K
Gonzalez will be appearing for his third different MLB team this year. In two starts with the Twins, he was 0-0 with a 7.71 ERA. And in four appearances (two starts) with the Brewers, he was 0-1 with a 6.37 ERA.
In total, Gonzalez has allowed 14 runs and 24 hits (including five homers) and has an OBA of .320 in the bigs this year. In five starts for the Yankees’ Triple-A team, he posted a 3.63 ERA and allowed 26 hits and nine runs in 22.1 innings.
We’ll see how long Aaron Boone wants him to go, but expectations should be low if you are thinking of backing the Yankees. Judge may well break the record today, but with Bradish showing good bounce-back ability and the Yankees starting someone who has not done much this season, I do like the Orioles to come through and get the series win on the road.
