Home run totals for the upcoming season are about more than just last year’s numbers, with factors like health, lineup, and ballpark playing key roles. Let us dive into some of the most promising home run prop bets for 2025.

Before diving into the home run props, I want to make it clear that these bets are based on facts, not as much on stats of years past. While past performance can offer some insight, each season is unique and often unpredictable, so relying too heavily on previous years does not tell the whole story.
Now, let us break down these two future props.
The Plays
Bet: Jose Ramirez Over 29.5 (-120) on Bovada
The face of the Cleveland Guardians, José Ramírez, should have no trouble surpassing 30 home runs in 2025 if he stays healthy. The five-time Silver Slugger will also benefit from the recent renovations to Progressive Field, where the “wind tunnel” in right field has become a launchpad for left-handed hitters.
In 2024, Ramírez hit 20 home runs at home. If he matches that in 2025, he would only need 10 on the road to hit the 30-mark. Add in the luxury of facing the White Sox multiple times—a team projected to win around 50 games with a shaky rotation—and the opportunities are there for him to feast.
After hitting .279 with a .872 OPS and crushing 39 home runs in 2024, Ramírez is primed to hit 30 again in 2025, especially with Progressive Field’s favorable conditions. JRam should deliver with ease.
Bet: Francisco Lindor Over 28.5 (-105) on Bovada
With the Mets acquiring Juan Soto this past offseason on a mega deal, the 26-year-old superstar is poised to elevate everyone in the lineup. We saw the impact Soto can have last season with the Yankees, as opposing teams were forced to pick their poison: pitch to Soto or face Judge.
The Mets’ projected 2025 lineup features Francisco Lindor leading off, followed by Soto, Mark Vientos, and Brandon Nimmo. With Soto looming on deck, teams will have no choice but to pitch to Lindor, making it nearly impossible to give him a free pass.
In 2024, Lindor hit .273 with an .844 OPS and 33 home runs. With Soto providing protection behind him, Lindor is set up for another big year and should have no trouble replicating 2024, easily crushing 29+ home runs in 2025.
