See Picks & Statistics For The GameThe Orioles and Mets play game two of their three game series tonight at Camden Yards.
Baltimore is just two games ahead of Tampa Bay for 1st place in the AL East, and they are definitely looking to extend that gap.
The Mets don’t have much to play for as they just traded away Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander, and are in a dramatic rebuilding mode at the moment.
The Orioles smacked the Mets around 10-3 last night, and I’m not sure why we wouldn’t expect something similar tonight.

Mets vs Orioles Best Bets
It’s no secret the Orioles are the better team, but they’ve also got so much more to play for.
Baltimore is battling for the AL East division title and seeding in the playoffs, whereas, the Mets are counting down the days until the season ends.
The Orioles are 6th in runs per game, and 9th in slugging percentage. They are 33-21 at home, and the Mets are 24-36 on the road.
New York is on a four game losing streak and they rank 25th in hits per game.
I do not see them overtaking this motivated Orioles team tonight.
The Pick: Orioles -1.5 (+115)
Player Props
Francisco Lindor over 1.5 Bases (+118) Bovada
Lindor has some great history against Gibson.
He abst .243 off of RHP this season and he has 57 plate appearances against the Oriole’s pitcher.
In that stretch, Lindor bats .353 with 18 hits and two doubles.
Gibson allows lefties to hit .286, and Lindor has 3 hits in the past two nights.
Lindor has cleared in 5 of his last 10 games, totaling 25 bases over that stretch.
For plus money, I’ll take him to smack a couple singles for us.
Gunnar Henderson over 1.5 Bases (+108) Bovada
Henderson clears in 40% of games overall but 50% at home.
He’s cleared in 5 of his last 7 games, with a total of 20 bases.
Henderson has also had 2+ bases in 7 of his last 9 home games. He has a total of 23 bases in those games.
Batting lead off and .257 against RHP, I like Henderson to clear his line for plus money in this one.
