Brandon Pfaadt has a career 6.75 ERA against the Dodgers.
Yesterday’s game at Chase Field was a sports’ bettor’s dream. We saw 5 total home runs, 3 from the Dodgers and 2 from the DBacks. Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman went back to back to back in the FIRST INNING.
The Backs followed that up with a Corbin Carroll homer in the bottom of the 1st and a Lourdes Gurriel yak in the third inning. It was absolute fireworks from first pitch to the last, the Dodgers won 8-6, and have now secured the first two games in this 4-game series.
Los Angeles won Game 1 10-9, with another 5 home runs between both teams in this game. The trio of Freeman, Ohtani and Carroll have now homered in back to back games, and now get possibly the best pitching matchup they’ve had yet.
We get 2nd year pitcher Brandon Pfaadt, who’s got a 6.04 ERA this month, and rookie pitcher Justin Wrobleski for the Dodgers. Pfaadt’s given up 4 yaks in 5 starts this month, and Wrobleski’s given up 7 in just 5 starts this year.

We’re betting the entire 3-Headed Dragon today. This Dodgers lineup is stacked to the brim, and as we get closer to the post-season we’re seeing the big dogs get the job done. Mookie’s hitting 0.277 this month since returning from injury.

Why are you surprised, we’re betting the entire 3-Headed Monster, I said that already. Freeman’s homered in back to back games now, and he’s now got 4 home runs in 11 games against the Diamondbacks this year.
Freeman’s got 19 home runs all year, and 4 of them came against the DBacks. That means 21% of his homers this year have come against the Diamondbacks. Freddy’s hitting 0.373 vs the DBacks, when at Chase Field, and he’s got 14 home runs, 45 RBI and 51 runs in 53 career games, in AZ.
He’s also hitting a career 0.364 against Pfaadt, with 2 doubles and 1 home run (0.818 SLG). Freeman’s been demolishing righties this year, recording a 0.311 batting average and 0.531 SLG. Compare this to the 0.237 and .397 SLG he recorded against lefties this season and you can see why he’s got 14 homers against righties.
Tonight het gets Pfaadt, he’s giving up over 1 home run per 9 innings over the last month. With the ball flying the way it is in this series, no reason Freddie can’t go for 3 in a row.
