Another Friday in the summer, I think we all know what that means by now. Saturdays are for the boys, but Fridays, are for the Baseball. We’ve got a 15 game slate today, unfortunately no early games.
With 35 or fewer games left for most teams, each game matters that much more. The hunt for October continues today. Let’s get into it.
Cody Bellinger o1.5 HRR (-130)
Bellinger has been an absolute stud for the Cubbies this season, hitting 0.320 and leading his team with 20 Home Runs in just 94 games played this year. The Cubs are threatening to make serious noise and it all starts with Belly.
Let’s talk about the opponent, Mitch Keller. He’s currently got a 4.22 ERA, that number has jumped to 5.20 over his L5 starts; he’s giving up on average 1.1 HRs/9 innings and 8.79 hits/9.
Keller’s also allowing lefties to hit 0.266 and has allowed 13 of his 19 HRs to lefties. Belly’s got 13 of his 20 HRs v RHP and batting 0.313.
Bellinger is 1/2 in his career vs. Keller, for a single. Not much data to go on historically but Vegas has this total at 9 today, with the Cubs team total sitting at 4.5. Combine this Keller’s recent struggles, no choice, pushed the button.

Julio Rodríguez o1.5 Total Bases
Rodríguez is batting 0.600 in his L5 games, two home runs, 7 RBIs, and a 0.920 SLG.You could say he’s caught fire at the right time.
Seattle currently sits one game back of the Rangers for the division, and a game and half ahead of the Blue Jays in the Wild Card race. Each win counts, and it seems like Rodríguez wants another shot at the post season.
He’s currently 0/3 in his career v Singer, but Singer has been bad this year. He’s currently giving up 9.5 hits/9, and giving up 0.9 HR/9; allowing RHB to hit 0.296.
Lastly, JRod has a history of turning it up in the fall. Over his L19 games last season, he was batting 0.338 with 5 HR and 9 RBI. Give us one more day of greatness JRod.
Bonus Play: Kodai Senga o6.5 Ks(-125)
Gonna save the write up, but we know this matchup. Angels are a top 3 strikeout team in the league, they rank 4th worst in K% v RHP over their L30 games. Senga is also averaging 1.19 Ks/inning and ranks in the 79th percentile. He’s also got a 2.63 ERA @ home v his 3.82 on the road. He’s also averaging 7Ks/game @ home v 6.4 on the road. It’s not a hitting prop, but I love Senga to lock in today.
