It’s hard to believe that the 2024 United States Presidential Election cycle is nearly over. Less than a week remains until election night on Tuesday, meaning it won’t be long before we know whether Republican nominee Donald Trump or Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris is the next U.S. President.
Betting News has been covering the election odds throughout the last several months and we won’t stop until the final ballot is cast.
Here’s a look at the latest U.S. presidential election odds.

2024 U.S. Presidential Election Odds Update (10/31)
U.S. Election odds are courtesy of BetOnline at 11:37 a.m. ET on Thursday, Oct. 31.
- Donald Trump (-190)
- Kamala Harris (+165)
- Other (+8000)
With election night five days away, Donald Trump is currently BetOnline’s -190 favorite to win the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Those odds carry an implied win probability of 65.5% after his odds jumped up from -170 (63.0%) last week.
However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the former president is a lock to win the election.
After all, FiveThirtyEight’s latest poll indicates that Kamala Harris currently holds a 1.4% lead over Trump as of Halloween. 270ToWin has Harris leading by 0.8% across an average of 17 polls, further showing that the betting odds don’t always tell the full story.
Election forecaster Allan Lichtman, who’s successfully predicted nine of the last 10 elections, is also predicting that Harris will defeat Trump in the polls.
Between the presidential election odds and polls, it’s clear that this race could go either way on Tuesday. Grab your popcorn because it’s far from over.
