The 2024 United States Presidential Election is finally here as polls across the country will close in a few hours. Betting on the presidential election odds has been incredibly popular this year as American bettors wager whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris will be next to sit in the Oval Office.
Even though polls are wrapping up tonight, it isn’t too late to get in on the election betting action.

2024 U.S. Presidential Election Odds Update (11/5)
U.S. Presidential Election odds are courtesy of BetOnline at 9:27 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
- Donald Trump (-172)
- Kamala Harris (+150)
- Other (+20000)
On Election Day 2024, Republican nominee Donald Trump is favored to be the next president of the United States. The 78-year-old’s -172 odds to win carry an implied probability of 63.4%.
Having said that, it’s worth noting that Trump’s odds have actually fallen in the last week. It was only on Thursday when he sat at -190 odds (65.0%), indicating that the line is beginning to move back in Harris’ direction.
As mentioned before, though, betting odds don’t always equate to what we’ll actually see tonight. Odds and lines can be affected by the choices bettors make, meaning there’s a chance that Trump might be heavily favored because more of his supporters partake in gambling than Harris’ base.
With various polls projecting a tight fight, there’s a good chance that this year’s election could come down to the wire. Harris and Trump are neck and neck in the final hours and we likely won’t know who prevails right until the very end.
