The final week of the 2022 USFL season is finally here, bringing fans four more matchups worth watching in the coming days.
Fans will be treated to a playoff preview to start the weekend as the North Division-leading New Jersey Generals (8-1) will host the second-place Philadelphia Stars at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday. That’ll be followed by a Birmingham Stallions (8-1) vs. Tampa Bay Bandits (4-5) collision at 4 p.m. ET.
The action continues on Sunday at 12 p.m. ET as the Michigan Panthers (1-8) pay a visit to the Pittsburgh Maulers (1-8) before the New Orleans Breakers (6-3) and Houston Gamblers (2-7) close out the regular season at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Here’s a look at the betting odds heading into each USFL Week 10 matchup, as well as a pick and prediction for each contest.

USFL Week 10 Predictions and Picks
Philadelphia Stars vs. New Jersey Generals Betting Odds and Prediction
- Spread: Philadelphia Stars +2.5 (-110), New Jersey Generals -2.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 41.5 (-110), UNDER 41.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Philadelphia Stars +120, New Jersey Generals -140

In what’s likely the must-see game of the week, the Stars and Generals will collide in what’s expected to be a tight matchup. It’s already been confirmed that the North Division foes will meet in the opening round of the playoffs, meaning a victory here could bring some much-needed momentum.
After losing to the Stallions in Week 1, the Generals have won eight consecutive games thanks to a great balance of high-end offense and defense. They already defeated the Stars, 24-16, in Week 3, so it looks like New Jersey controls its own fate.
On the other hand, the Stars are 5-1 since their loss to the Generals. They have the best offense in the USFL too, having averaged 29.3 points per game since Week 3 — above their average of 26.6 on the year.
It’s going to be a tight game, but I think the Generals will get the edge thanks to home-field advantage.
Prediction: Generals 32, Stars 25
Best Bet: Generals -2.5 (-110)
Birmingham Stallions vs. Tampa Bay Bandits Betting Odds and Prediction
- Spread: Birmingham Stallions -3.5 (-110), Tampa Bay Bandits +3.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 40.5 (-110), UNDER 40.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Birmingham Stallions -160, Tampa Bay Bandits +135

While Saturday opens with a tight matchup, that might not be the case going on in the second tilt of the day as the South Division-leading Stallions pay a visit to the Bandits.
The Stallions will likely be out for blood after the lowly Houston Gamblers ended their undefeated last season with a 17-15 loss. Birmingham barely beat out Tampa Bay when they met in Week 4 (16-10 final score), but the Stallions need to send a message if they want to be taken seriously in the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the Bandits have lost three of their last four games, averaging only 13.5 points over that span. They could have an outside chance if the Stallions take it easy before the playoffs, but Tampa Bay also always seems to find a way to lose.
I think the Stallions will win another close game, but it’ll be another low-scoring affair like their first meeting in the 2022 USFL season.
Prediction: Stallions 18, Bandits 13
Best Bet: Under 40.5 points (-110)
Michigan Panthers vs. Pittsburgh Maulers Betting Odds and Prediction
- Spread: Michigan Panthers -2.5 (-110), Pittsburgh Maulers +2.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 42.5 (-110), UNDER 42.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Michigan Panthers -135, Pittsburgh Maulers +115
Odds are via BetOnline Sportsbook.
Fans will also be treated to a basement battle on Sunday as the two 1-8 teams — the Panthers and Maulers — will collide to end the regular season.
Regardless of who the victor is here, one of the two teams will end their respective lengthy losing streak. When it comes to the Panthers, they’ve lost six straight games while the Maulers’ losing streak sits at four.
Michigan shut Pittsburgh down, 24-0, when the two foes clashed in Week 3. The Panthers haven’t won a game since then, but they’ve already proven that they can handle whatever the Maulers have to throw at them.
Unless something drastic happens, I have confidence in the Panthers walking away with the USFL Week 10 victory.
Prediction: Panthers 22, Maulers 7
Best Bet: Under 42.5 points (-110)
New Orleans Breakers vs. Houston Gamblers Betting Odds and Prediction
- Spread: New Orleans Breakers -3.5 (-110), Houston Gamblers +3.5 (-110)
- Total: OVER 41.5 (-110), UNDER 41.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: New Orleans Breakers -160, Houston Gamblers +135
Odds are via BetOnline Sportsbook.
The 2022 USFL regular season will come to an end after the Breakers and Gamblers finish handling their business on Sunday night.
The Breakers are looking for some momentum ahead of their playoff matchup with the Stallions. New Orleans has won three of its last four outings to secure its postseason spot, but a win over Houston could give the team what it needs to start the playoffs right.
The Gamblers could prove to be tough opponents, though. Sure, they’re 2-7, but they’re coming off a victory over the Stallions in Week 9. They also only lost to the Breakers by a single possession in Week 4, so this may not be that big of a mismatch after all.
Due to last week’s momentum, I could see the Gamblers shocking some people and ending the regular season on a high note.
Prediction: Gamblers 21, Breakers 19
Best Bet: Gamblers ML (+135)
