Woodbine: 2 Graded Stakes Races Featured, Hendrie & Dance Smartly

Woodbine continues a big weekend of racing with 2 graded stakes races on Sunday. The card features the grade 3 Hendrie and the grade 2 turf Dance Smartly.

Woodbine- Race 1

Post: 1:00 PM ET; $40k Starter Optional Claiming going 6 1/2 furlongs on all weather track; Entries: 8

• #8 FORESTER'S TURN (3-1) gets the top selection. He seems to fit well here. This one comes into the race in really good form.
• #7 DYNAMITE KARMA (12-1) should be competitive in this spot. He may get the absolute dream flow of the race in this spot. This one shouldn't have trouble with the 6 1/2 furlong distance.
• #2 WENJACK (7-2) could be in with a shot in this race. He has races good enough to beat this group.
• #4 VELOCE (5-2) could be in with a shot in this race. He has to be respected going out for the combination of Drexler and Kimura. This one has the top overall power rating in the group.

• #6 WAVE BABY (4-1) could be in with a shot in this race. He seems to fit well enough here. This one should be in the right spot to be in with a chance late.
• #9 BLAST IN THE SNOW (5-1) feels like a fringe contender in this spot. He has races that make this one a player. This one should be in the mix as the enter the lane.

• #5 ARTIE'S PRINCESS (3-1) appears to be a major player in this race. She has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here.
• #3 AMALFI COAST (4-1) appears to be a major player in this race. She is a good bet to hit the board in this type of race. This one shouldn't have any trouble with the 6 1/2 furlong distance.
• #6 DYNASTY OF HER OWN (15-1) feels like a fringe contender in this spot. She has run against some really good runners in recent starts.

• #8 GASTON (3-1) could be in with a shot in this race. He should be in the right spot to be in with a chance late.
• #6 UNDER SURVEILLANCE (30-1) is probably best to put underneath on most tickets. He has races that would be competitive with these runners. This one may be in the heard of horses with a shot heading for home.

• #3 MEYER (10-1) should be competitive in this spot. This one should be able to benefit from the flow of the race. It may not be enough to win, but maybe this one can be on the tote when the results are posted.

• #2 PRINCE OF AYRSHIRE (20-1) should be competitive in this spot. At 20-1 this one seems like a value player and should be able to outperform that number.

• #9 SIR FOR SURE (15-1) feels like a fringe contender in this spot. He may get the right pace setup to make some hay in this spot.
