With fall and winter approaching there is a shift in the racing landscape. Remington Park is one of the tracks that thrives in the absence of marquee racing elsewhere.

• #5 SHADES OF VICTORY (4-1) should be competitive in this spot. He has races good enough to beat this group. This one will be rolling late and has a good closing kick that could get the job done here.
• #2 BIG MONEY MACHINE (7-2) is a good bet to hit the board in this type of race.
• #8 LIMBO'S PROMISE (9-2) is a likely board hitter at the mile distance.

• #6 MAMASHAVNAHOTFLASH (10-1) is a price horse and shouldn't have trouble with the 1 mile distance.

• #9 ELI'S GIRL (15-1) has speed figures that fit and figures to get an honest enough pace scenario to be a consideration.
