Parx Tuesday: 4 Additional Stakes Races As Parx Madness Rolls On

Parx has another stakes laden card on Tuesday. Races 7 through 10 on the card will be stakes races capped off by the City of Brotherly Love. The race will see Courvoisier ship in from Aqueduct.

Tuesday Full Card Analysis

Parx Race Course Race 1

Post: 12:55 PM ET; Purse: $53,000 Allowance Optional Claiming, 7 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 6

• #4 AMERICAN PATROL (5-2) kicks off the card as a deserving favorite with really solid speed figures and the foundation to get the distance.
• #1 FAR MO POWER (3-1) is proven as a good bet to at least hit the board under today's distance and surface conditions.
• #2 THREE TWO ZONE (7-2) has to be given a look. The speed figures are competitive and the power rating is tops in the group.
• #5 BAAFEED (5-1) should be forward early and has solid human connections behind him.

Post: 1:22 PM ET; Purse: $29,000 Claiming, 5 1/2 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 13

• #10 FULL SEND (3-1) will do just that and look to beat this field on the front end. The speed figures suggest that this one could have enough to hold off late charges as well.
• #6 EXTREME FORCE (7-2) is in with a great chance based on the horse's class & power rating.
• #1 MR FANTASY (8-1) comes into the race signaling a big performance in the near future.
• #2 FEARLESS FLY (6-1) has faced some solid foes in recent starts and could payoff at a nice price here.

Post: 1:49 PM ET; Purse: $36,000 Starter Optional Claiming, 7 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 14

• #12 DISTRACTANDATTACK (7-2) has to be respected based on the connections though admittedly the wide post is a concern.
• #3 BUFFALO SHUFFLE (9-2) is in with a great chance based on the horse's recent form.
• #9 JOVIAL (8-1) has really good speed figures against this group and should be able to handle the 7 furlong distance.
• #1 BUCKS ARE MOVING (4-1) should be in the right spot early to give this horse a chance to get the job done.

Parx Race Course Race 4

Post: 2:16 PM ET; Purse: $26,000 Claiming, 7 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 13

• #6 JUMP SHOT (3-1) is rated as the highest overall power rating in the group and is a deserving favorite in this spot.
• #5 TY RAN A HOMER (4-1) has speed and class numbers to suggest that this one fits really well in this race.
• #13 FOREST FIRE (6-1) is very similar to the #5 but does draw an unfortunate wide post that may be tough to overcome.
• #7 SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS (8-1) could be the pace setter in the race and the rest of the field may find it difficult to track this one down.

• #11 HE RUNS THE LINE (6-1) has the best speed figures in the group but it is hard to fully trust those in these maiden claimers.
• #4 WILLIE MAYS HAYS (6-1) has a major league shot in this race and could get the perfect setup to steal this one.
• #7 ITS ABOUT MY TIME (7-2) has to be respected based on the connections.
• #8 ALPHA'S CANDY MAN (5-1) is worth a look here given the record at the distance which is the best in the field.

Post: 3:10 PM ET; Purse: $46,000 Allowance, 7 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 8

• #5 MAYBE AFTER LATER (5-2) is a major player in today's race edging the field in several key handicapping factors including speed & power rating.
• #1 TIP FOR TAP (4-1) is worth a look here given edges in class. This one likes the 7 furlong distance as well.
• #6 JW'S THIRD MISCHIE (6-1) should be prominent throughout the early stages. If no one presses early this one could definitely be a major player late.
• #3 PYLON (6-1) classes up well with this group.

• #3 MORNING MATCHA (2-1) is a major player in today's race edging the field in several key handicapping factors including speed & pace numbers.
• #5 CHAMPAGNE POETRY (7-2) is worth a look here given edges in class & form.
• #2 BAZINGA C (6-1) has solid connections and could get the perfect pace setup in this spot.
• #1 SKERRETT (8-1) is proven as a good bet to at least hit the board under today's distance and surface conditions.

Post: 4:12 PM ET; Purse: $100,000 Society Hill S., 6 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 11

• #2 DISCO EBO (9-2) should be competitive today based on the horse's speed & pace numbers.
• #9 BUFF MY BOOTS (7-2) is worth a look here given the recent form and the projected pace setup.
• #10 STARSHIP LAOBAN (4-1) looks a cut below the top two and will start wider, but is overall very competitive with this group.
• #1 ROSEBUG (3-1) has the top overall power rating and that has to count for something. The post probably helps this one a little.

• #6 UNCLE BUDDY (6-1) could get a perfect pace scenario today.
• #4 UNCAPTURED SPIRIT (6-1) comes into the race signaling a big performance. Maybe today is the day we see it.
• #9 PRACTICAL COACH (4-1) has to be respected based on the connections.
• #3 DANCE CODE (7-2) is in with a great chance based on the early pace numbers.

Post: 5:14 PM ET; Purse: $100,000 City of Brotherly Love S., 1 1/16 Miles on Dirt; Entries: 8

• #4 COURVOISIER (3-1) looks like a strong prospect edging the field in several key handicapping factors including class & power rating.
• #6 CONSTITUTIONLAWYER (9-2) merits consideration in this spot given edges in speed & stamina.
• #2 NONEEDTOWORRY (6-1) classes up well enough with this field, but seems a cut below the top two on the board.
• #3 SMARTEN UP (4-1) is definitely one of the likely contenders, but the price seems too short for this horse against this field.
