• #1 SHARED FUTURE (7-2) looks really good in this spot. This runner should be near the front early and has been running extremely well of late. Several of the recent performances make this one a major player here.
• #8 WHOLELOTTAMO (3-1) should be able to carry speed the full 7 furlongs of the race and that could make this one a worthy challenger to the top pick.
• #3 MISS JANA (5-1) has to be respected as this one hasn’t done much wrong of late.
• #11 MYSTIQUE SABOTEUR (9-2) could be the class of the field, but the 11 post is not ideal.

• #4 RITHMICALLEA (5-2) is a class horse that should be near the lead early. These connections always have to be respected.
• #6 JEFFROW (8-1) will be a value play for speed figure players as this one has the top numbers in the group.
• #2 PEACHY MANDATE (12-1) has been reliable to hit the board at this distance in the past and is a solid price at 12-1.
• #1 BIRCH (15-1) could get a good setup in this spot to at least hit the board.

Post: 1:23 PM CT; Purse: $25,000 Starter Allowance, 7 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 7

• #4 DUEFORADATE (5-1) has speed figures that suggest this one is a major threat for an upset. The bloodlines make sense in this spot and this one should be on or near the lead throughout.
• #3 DA DUE RUN RUN (4-1) is in great form right now and has an affinity for this distance.
• #7 SEE SASSY RUN (6-1) is another outside with speed figures good enough to beat these runners.
• #2 GIRL THIRSTY (5-2) is the class of the field and could see a big jump forward with the relief in class.

Post: 1:51 PM CT; Purse: $38,000 Maiden Special Weight, 6 1/2 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 10

• #8 JUSTA BUSTER (9-2) has breeding to suggest this one should be favored here.
• #2 GUITAR DOCTOR (5-2) has experience and that is an important advantage for horses in these maiden races, although it holds more weight in the maiden claiming ranks.
• #5 HEZA SEXY ZONG (7-2) has hit the board under these conditions already. There is no reason to believe that won’t happen again here.
• #9 BRIMESTONE KID (10-1) has run against some tougher. Maybe a drop in to an easier spot wakes this one up.

Post: 2:19 PM CT; Purse: $36,000 Allowance, 5 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 7

• #5 SMOOTH RIVER (8-1) goes out for a top barn and has speed figures to be successful in this spot.
• #1 THE BIG SHOW (3-1) comes into the race running very well of late.
• #7 SPECIAL BREED (7-2) has the top power rating in the group. If this one can workout a trip from the wider post, it could be very dangerous.
• #4 D T'S DREAM (6-1) has the stamina to finish strong. The question will be if this one is close enough for that to matter. This one feels more like a board hitter than a winner.

Post: 2:47 PM CT; Purse: $13,000 Claiming, 6 1/2 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 9

• #3 BEYOND BROWN (9-5) looks really tough to beat here. This is a much easier spot than some of the recent efforts. I will have this one keyed in the top spot on most of my tickets.
• #9 FLAT OUT FLIRTY (8-1) has put up speed figures to compete with any of the runners in this field.
• #5 MO MONEYHONEY (7-2) loves to hit the board at 6 1/2 furlongs, but at a shorter price I don’t see using this one on a ton of tickets. Nevertheless, this runner has to be considered a likely trifecta hitter.
• #7 CYBER SNEAKER (8-1) is an interesting price horse to consider for the exotics.

Delta Downs Race 6

Post: 3:17 PM CT; Purse: $40,000 Allowance, 6 1/2 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 8

• #7 WON DAY (4-1) is tops in speed and class and will be on the engine early. I think this one steals the race.
• #1 COURTLY DOC (12-1) comes into this one in top form and maybe can help cash a fat exacta fading the favorite.
• #2 FIRST I'VE SEEN (2-1) is a bit of a distance specialist and will be a challenging foe here, but I prefer others that offer more value.
• #8 TOOSIE (5-1) is another one that loves this distance. However, this runner does not possess the same talent level as the #2.

Delta Downs Race 7

Post: 3:47 PM CT; Purse: $36,000 Allowance, 1 Mile on Dirt; Entries: 9

• #3 QUESTION AUTHORITY (15-1) has the top power rating in the group. Delta Downs can be known to have some major upsets, so I’ll take a swing here.
• #5 SHANGHAI BROTHER (5-2) comes into the race sitting on a big performance for a barn that typically has their runners ready to go.
• #4 BEAUREGARD (9-2) will be forward early and can maybe squirt away early to take the field gate to wire.
• #7 HERE COMES MAGIC (8-1) is the top speed figure horse in the group, but the class of these competitors don’t leave me overly optimistic that we’ll see that top performance again.

Post: 4:47 PM CT; Purse: $38,000 Maiden Special Weight, 5 Furlongs on Dirt; Entries: 10

• #2 SHARP CHARLIE (8-5) is a deserving favorite. Of the runners with experience this is the one you want. Others could step forward, but based on the current body of work this one is rightfully at the top of the market.
• #6 LITTLE E (10-1) is an interesting player if you’re resigned to the fact that the chalk should win this race. I’ll use this one for value underneath.
• #8 HOLIDAY DIAMOND (15-1) goes out for top connections at Delta Downs and could very well find its number posted somewhere on the mutuel board.
• #9 SILVER CHALICE (10-1) will be the best chance to steal the race on the front end as this one has an abundance of speed.
