The Beldame and Knickerbocker stakes take place on Sunday. They will be joined by the Futurity as the three stakes races from Belmont at the Big A.
Belmont at the Big A- Race 1
Post: 12:35 PM ET; $77k Maiden Special Weight going 6 furlongs on dirt; Entries: 6
- #6 BOURBON CHASE (7-5) debuts here and has to be respected going out for the combination of Pletcher and Ortiz.
- #4 STORM THE EMPIRE (12-1) is a price horse and has proven to be able to handle these conditions in previous starts. This one comes into the race in really good form.
- #2 LT. MITCHELL (3-1) should improve off the first start and should be part of the early pace in this spot. This one has the pedigree to be a major player in this spot.
- #1 CENTRAL LOVE (6-1) goes out for the second career start and is likely to improve. The first effort was at these conditions and was productive enough.
Selections: 6 – 4 – 2 – 1
Belmont at the Big A- Race 2
Post: 1:10 PM ET; $45k Claiming going 1 1/16 miles on turf; Entries: 14
- #9 AVIANO (7-2) has to be respected going out for the combination of Camejo and Ortiz. This one shouldn't have trouble with the 1 1/16 mile distance.
- #12 DANTE'S FIRE (5-1) has been really solid in recent starts and should be ready to run a big one here. This one projects to sit mid pack and come with one run.
- #3 BOX N SCORE (9-2) has the top overall power rating in the group. This one will be rolling late and has a good closing kick that could get the job done here.
- #7 MR. KRINGLE (8-1) seems to fit well enough here.
Selections: 9 – 12- 3 – 7
Belmont at the Big A- Race 3
Post: 1:47 PM ET; $250k Beldame S. going 1 1/8 miles on dirt; Entries: 5
- #1 NEST (1-5) seems to tower over these types. If she runs her race it is all over for the rest of them.
- #5 TRAVEL COLUMN (6-1) shouldn't have trouble with the 1 1/8 mile distance. This one makes sense on speed figures.
- #2 FIRST TO ACT (4-1) could get the right setup in this race.
- #3 HYBRID ECLIPSE (20-1) is a price horse and that has run well at these longer distance. A horse like this is the only way to extract value from the favorite.
Selections: 1 – 5 – 2 – 3
Belmont at the Big A- Race 4

Post: 2:55 PM ET; $47k Maiden Claiming going 1 1/16 miles on turf; Entries: 15
- #1A STREET VENDOR (7-2) has races good enough to beat this group. The biggest advantage is that you get 2 for the price of 1.

- #11 GREG'S HONOR (9-2) looks to be the class of the field. This one has the pedigree to be a major player in this spot.
- #14 HOOKY PLAYER (4-1) seems to fit well enough here but will have to get help to draw in and work out a trip.
Selections: 1A- 1 – 11- 14
