Best Value Teams in the 2027 Super Bowl Odds

Since each sportsbook posts slightly different numbers, be sure to shop around and grab the best price available. Also keep in mind that the official NFL schedule won't be released until May. Teams already know their opponents, just not the order in which they'll face them. Expect some movement in the 2027 Super Bowl odds after the schedule drops, and potentially more after the NFL Draft, so factor that into your early futures decisions.

Los Angeles Chargers (+1600)

Drake Maye takes on Justin Herbert in the AFC Wild Card Round. Check our New England Patriots vs Los Angeles Chargers preview & picks.

People love to clown Justin Herbert for his inability to produce in the postseason, arguing that his supporters are constantly making excuses. While there's some truth to that criticism, the context behind his struggles does carry weight.

Herbert's offensive line was ravaged by injuries all season, and it showed – especially in the Wild Card Round loss to the New England Patriots. In that game, he was sacked six times and pressured on 30 of 44 dropbacks, which, according to Pro Football Focus, marked the second-highest pressure rate of the entire season. The highest? Another Chargers game – a Week 14 matchup against the Eagles.

Yes, Herbert has quality receiving weapons, but he also dealt with an injured backfield for much of the year and a defense that needed time to develop into a formidable unit.

The biggest reason for optimism in Los Angeles is the reset that comes with a full offseason. After an injury-riddled year, the Chargers will get their key guys healthy and back on the field together. Just being closer to full strength could raise this team's ceiling in a big way.

But it's not just about health. The Chargers also made a significant addition to their coaching staff, hiring former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel as offensive coordinator. McDaniel, like many before him, is at his best when he can focus on what he does well, designing and calling plays, rather than managing the entire operation as a head coach.

If this roster stays healthier and McDaniel unlocks more consistency on offense, the Chargers will field one of the more dynamic units in the league. If that happens, their 2027 Super Bowl odds won't stay at this price for long.

It might be worth grabbing a ticket sooner rather than later.

San Francisco 49ers (+1800)

Updated 2027 NFL Super Bowl odds for all 32 teams. We break down the early favorites and the best value futures to bet now.

Speaking of injuries, no team was hit harder than the San Francisco 49ers. Despite being ravaged throughout the season, they still managed to grind their way to the Divisional Round before those issues finally caught up to them in a 41–6 loss to their division rival and eventual Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.

I still believe Kyle Shanahan is the best coach in the NFL. No, he hasn't won the big game, but his teams are consistently in contention, and he squeezes value out of whatever roster he's given. Getting to the Divisional Round without several key playmakers only reinforces that point.

Shanahan's greatest attribute is getting the most out of his players, which is why we've seen success from quarterbacks like Jimmy Garoppolo, Brock Purdy and Mac Jones in his system.

The NFC West remains a gauntlet, but regression could be looming across the division. The Seahawks may deal with a bit of a Super Bowl hangover. Stafford is coming off an MVP season, and it's never easy to replicate that level of production. The Cardinals should take a step forward and could even sneak into the playoff mix, but they're not a true threat to win the division.

This might be the last real window for this 49ers core to make another run, and I'd be surprised if they didn't at least find their way back to the Divisional Round.

Atlanta Falcons (+5000)

Updated 2027 Super Bowl odds for all 32 teams. We break down the early favorites and the best value futures to bet now.

A longer shot worth considering is the Atlanta Falcons. This roster is loaded with talent, it's just been missing the right leadership to bring everything together.

Enter two-time Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski. If he can win that award in the Cleveland Browns organization, imagine what he can produce with weapons like Bijan Robinson, Drake London and Kyle Pitts. And if the Falcons are going to unlock Michael Penix Jr., Stefanski is the right coach to do it.

They also happen to play in the easiest and most wide-open division in football. If the offense clicks under Stefanski and the defense avoids becoming a liability, Atlanta could control the NFC South – and that 50/1 Super Bowl ticket would look awfully good come postseason time.

Final Thoughts on the 2027 Super Bowl Odds

The 2027 Super Bowl odds won't stay static. Free agency, the NFL Draft and the schedule release will all move the market in one direction or another. That's the nature of futures betting. But that's also where opportunity lives. If you identify a team whose trajectory looks stronger than the current price suggests, grabbing that number now can give you real value before the rest of the market catches up.

Shop around, trust your evaluation and don't be afraid to lock in a price before it disappears.
