Three of the last five NASCAR Xfinity Series races have been won by Cup Series stars. Will another one take the checkered flag in today’s Tennessee Lottery 250 at Nashville Superspeedway (7:30 pm ET, The CW)?
After Kyle Larson picked up wins at Bristol and Texas Motor Speedway, William Byron took the win at Charlotte Motor Speedway last weekend. Tonight, Ross Chastain, fresh off of a thrilling Coca-Cola 600 win, will try to pick up his first Xfinity Series win since 2019 as he gets behind the wheel of the JR Motorsports #9 for the third time this season.
While he has not won in his last 56 Xfinity Series starts, Chastain is the favorite for the race, edging out series points leader Justin Allgaier and Aric Almirola at top online sportsbooks.
Bet on NASCAR Odds at BetOnline and Bovada
If you like to bet on NASCAR odds each week, look no further than BetOnline and Bovada.
Both of these sites offer odds on NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series races, and you can also find series championship odds at both sites.
Why do we recommend both books instead of just one? Line shopping is a valuable part of successful sports betting, and one book may have a better number for one driver, while the other book may have a better number for another driver, so both can be useful on race day.
Additionally, line movement may occur at different times at different books. Therefore, you may get a more favorable line at one book over the other depending on the timing. Use these books in a cooperative manner to maximize your value and chances of success with NASCAR betting.
If you would like to learn more about these sports betting sites and the sportsbook bonuses you can get at them to bet on the Tennessee Lottery 250 and other NASCAR races, we have in-depth sportsbook reviews for each of them and several other top online sportsbooks.
Will a Fifth Different Winner Emerge at Nashville?
Since Xfinity Series racing resumed at Nashville Superspeedway in 2021, four different drivers have won the Tennessee Lottery 250.
- 2021: Kyle Busch
- 2022: Justin Allgaier
- 2023: A.J. Allmendinger
- 2024: John Hunter Nemechek
In that group, the lone driver who wasn’t a Cup Series regular at the time of their win is Allgaier, who currently leads the series standings by 72 points over Austin Hill.
Allgaier will enter tonight’s race with a little extra motivation after how his last two races panned out. In the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300, he led 99 laps but finished 35th after a collision with Kris Wright with less than 45 laps remaining. Last Saturday at Charlotte ended in frustration as well, as he led 103 laps but finished fourth behind Byron, Connor Zilisch, and Nick Sanchez, who recorded a career-best Xfinity Series finish.
With Chastain in the field and Almirola back in the Joe Gibbs Racing #19 for the sixth time this season, Allgaier will have some tough competition for the victory, but his overall dominance in the last two races underscores why he is one of the favorites at BetOnline.

Tennessee Lottery 250 Predictions and Picks
Austin Hill to finish in the top five (+160 at Bovada)
Hill recorded his ninth top-ten finish of the season (and his fourth straight overall) at Charlotte, as he came in seventh. Another strong showing should be in order at Nashville Superspeedway, where he has an average finish 6.3 and finished fourth in both 2023 and 2024.
Also, Hill to finish higher head-to-head against Richard Childress Racing teammate Jesse Love is worth a shout at -105. Hill has finished higher than Love eight times in 13 races this season, including each of the last four.
Justin Allgaier to finish in the top three (-120 at Bovada)
On the surface, this isn’t great value for this particular bet, as top-three finish odds for most drivers are well north of evens.
But it is rather good value for Allgaier in this spot when his car is vrooming and zooming along at the front as it is right now. It hasn’t been where it needed to be when it matters most, but when he has led more than 200 laps in the last two races and finished first, second, or third six times this season, this is a high-confidence play.
Harrison Burton to finish in the top ten (+350 at Bovada)
Burton finished 21st last weekend, but we are undeterred in continuing to back him at long top-10 odds. Burton finished third in the Tennessee Lottery 250 in its first year in 2021, and while a challenge for the victory tonight seems unlikely, a so-so finish at Charlotte does not take away from the fact that he is getting good results this season.
