High Roller Technologies, a Las Vegas-based online casino operator, has applied for an operator license in Ontario. They tendered their application to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) for an operator licence in the province.
The company operates the High Roller and Fruta brands in the Las Vegas market. Moreover, High Roller intends to launch its flagship brand HighRoller.com in Ontario in the second half of 2025.
High Roller CEO Ben Clemes said applying for an Ontario gambling license is a top priority. He stressed that accessing one of the key Canada online casino markets is essential for the company. Clemes added:
“Once our application is approved, we anticipate that we will have the opportunity to launch our online casino product into the market later this year.”
Clemes also noted that Ontario is missing an elegant brand like High Roller. He is excited to roll out the red carpet for new customers, and looks forward to showcasing their quality products.

Apart from securing the operating license in Ontario, the company is also looking to expand to Alberta, Canada. This is part of their expansion plan in the wide Canadian online casino market.
That said, Clemes also stated that launching in Ontario is the company’s first step into North America. He said:
“We’re also thrilled to see Alberta take action to open a competitive regulated market. The momentum we built towards the end of Q1 has carried into Q2, and we’re gaining strength.”
